To say he was stunned would be an understatement.  He walked into a hallway, with a closet for winter coats and wide enough to hang stuff if they wanted.  Walking through it, he faced the kitchen.  A peninsula separated it on the right from the living room, a large glass sliding door leading to a porch.

Standing at the hallway, he could see the dining room to the left, an island in between the spaces.  Walking into the living room, a door on the right wall opened into the master bedroom.  A large walk in closet, a separate shower and tub in the bathroom completed the ensuite.  Another sliding door let in light from the porch.

Going back out towards the dining room, there was the second bedroom, bathroom, and combo storage laundry room.  All the walls were white and no furniture was inside.  Roman recognized they used higher end appliances and finishes.

"Well?  What do you think?  We were going to paint and select furniture, but we weren't expecting to need it ready yet.  Now that Alpha has you, we thought it would be better to have you do it together."  Frank was nervous, Roman hadn't said anything.

"It's amazing, truly.  From the little bit Athena has told me about the progress, I didn't think any apartments were this close to being finished."

"Alpha doesn't see all of them, usually just the ones with issues.  Don is in charge of overseeing the whole project, he keeps her up to date with stuff.  One residential building has been assigned to me, Anthony, Daniel and Mark.  This building is the fifth, and we've all taken a role in it.  For whatever reason, this had more damage so it wasn't focused on, other than this space."

"You've done an excellent job, I can tell you've paid attention to detail and the workmanship is wonderful."  Roman meant every word of praise and even though Frank is older, he was proud that Luna thought so highly of them.

"Let me show you the rest of the complex, we still have work to be done on it. We can do the finishing touches when you and Alpha pick out paint colors and furniture."

During the rest of the tour, Roman was impressed by how much work they've done in a short time while not cutting any corners.  On his many jobs, that was his pet peeve, doing subpar work to save a few bucks.  It was obvious Athena spared no expense and used top quality materials.

He had lunch with Athena and the others outside where the party had been last night.  There wasn't any evidence of it, other than the grass was pressed down but he suspected it was like that before.

"Sweetheart, I need to show you something when you're done."

"Ok, I wrapped up everything with Don so I'm all yours."  She blushed when the implications of what she said came to her.

Roman chuckled and whispered, "soon you will be."  Making her go from pink to red.  The others gathered smiled at the new couple but didn't say anything.

Athena held his hand while they walked to their new home.  He opened the door and watched her reactions.  "Welcome home sweetheart."  Home, he now had a home.  It was equal parts satisfying and terrifying at the same time.

"Home?  I don't understand."  She tore her eyes from the modern kitchen to look at his.

"Yes, home, this is ours now.  Frank brought be here earlier.  We need to let him know if want color paint and select furniture. Then we can move in."  He stood behind her, wrapping his arms around her while she leaned back against him.

"I told them not to do mine first."

He kissed her neck, "well, they didn't listen to you and I am very glad.  We can't live in your office.  Do you want to pick out stuff or do you need my help?"
