Don't spill the tea (Wanda X Reader)

         You stood in the doorway as your wife tucked your son's in. The day had been especially tiring considering you had fought a clone of yourself and Wanda had fought your neighbor. Your son's, Timmy and Tommy, were worn out from the day's events. 

Placing a kiss on the head of both boys you wish them good night before heading down stairs to make some tea for you and Wanda. The day had been very confusing for you between finding out that your wife made a whole town disappear and that you were dead. 

It took a few minutes before you heard Wanda's footsteps coming down the stairs and when you turned to face her she was already sitting on the couch. Grabbing a mug out of the cabinet you place her favorite tea inside and grab the electric kettle from the counter before pouring it into the mug. 

"Here you go love."

She gives you a soft smile and takes the mug from your hand as you take a seat next to her. 

"Why'd you do it Wanda?"

She looks down at the mug with a sad expression before speaking, "It was hard. Not just the fact that I was living without you but the fact that we never got to have the ending we wanted. My feelings were just too powerful."

You wrap your arm around her and sit there in silence as you drink your tea, waiting until you're both finished to grab both mugs and take them to the kitchen. As you place the mugs in the sink you look out the window to see the forcefield Wanda must have created closing. 

A sad smile comes to your face as you leave the kitchen to find Wanda standing and facing you. As you walk to her, it's only when you get closer that you notice the tears in her eye's. 

"Oh my love, I don't know why you're crying. We'll see each other again, whether it's in your dreams or face to face. I swear on it. "

You envelop her in a hug and it takes a minute but she manages to return the hug. The two of you stay like that for a few minutes before you take her face in your hands and wipe the tears from her cheeks. 

"I love you, I always will. "

Wanda gives you a smile before placing a kiss on your lips in which you return. She pulls away and you open your eyes to find that you're disappearing. 

The last thing you hear before everything goes dark is the words that started this whole thing. 

"I love you more"
