STEPHANIE HARRINGTON

Stephanie.

Fucking.

Harrington.

She was the only thing he could think about. When he woke up in the morning he thought about how good she'd look waking up beside him in one of his t-shirts, her permanent smile greeting him as soon as he opened his eyes. When he made his breakfast, he thought about how nice it would be to cook for her, feeling her arms wrap around his waist, hugging him from behind as he fried bacon, music playing in the background.

When he walked through the halls at school, Eddie thought about how good it would feel if her hand was in his, wearing his leather jacket, pure light radiating from beside him as he showed the whole school that Eddie 'the freak' Munson could sure as hell catch a girl as beautiful as Stephanie Harrington.

That's what she was to him, beautiful, everything she did was pure sunshine. When she touched him, it was like he was being set on fire. When she kissed him it was like a gift from god himself –and Eddie Munson was in no way religious.

She was like heaven and hell all in one, she ignited a flame inside him, something for him to look forward to, all while making him feel safe, and like he had nothing else to look forward to since she was the only thing he needed.

He had fallen for her hard considering that they haven't really known each other for long and that they have only kissed twice. Eddie didn't get action often, but he knew that even after having sex multiple times with other people, he has never felt this way over a few measly kisses.

She was a goddess.

"What is on your mind, boy." Wayne Munson, Eddie's uncle spoke after a few moments of silence.

It was the night after the boy had stopped over at Stephanie's place and he couldn't get it out of his mind. He had seen and talked to the girl today, not really sure how to act. He didn't want to scare her away with PDA, so he let her pick what amount of affection she wanted to be shown in public. Which was a lot more than he expected, consisting of her holding his hand and swinging it as she spoke and even a kiss on the cheek before she departed from him in the hall to go home at the end of the day. He was shocked, to say the least, and he would've offered her a ride if he didn't have a hellfire club meeting. Although when he turned around he was shocked to see Nancy Wheeler at the end of the hall with a smile on her face. Eddie only nodded at her, which seemed to snap her out of something because she awkwardly smiled and turned in the opposite direction. Weird.

 Now, he was out for dinner with his uncle at the local diner, zoning out as Wayne droned on about something related to his job. He usually worked night shifts, and tonight was one of the few nights off due to an electrical issue, so Wayne took this time to eat out with his nephew –who he considers his son– to spend a bit of time with him. They never really bonded much lately since whenever Eddie returns from school, the man's already at work, not returning until late at night, and sleeping in until noon. So whenever he had a day off, he always tried to do something with Eddie for fear of the boy getting lonely.

He had mentioned a few times that he thought as Eddie grew older, he'd stop taking time out of his day to spend with his uncle, but Eddie enjoyed it whenever they did things together. Whether it was going out for dinner or even just watching a movie on the TV, Eddie was a sweet kid and he never really had a parental figure other than Wayne, so he cherishes the time he does get to spend with the man who had a kid dumped on him when he was already struggling to provide for himself.
