AFTER GETTING off the phone with Eddie, Stephanie began trekking to the video store.

Having him lie to her mother at her expense caused the girl to have an epiphany of some sort. She decided that she needed to pick up her big girl pants and inform Steve about her little situation with Eddie. She needed to be honest with him about who she's actually been with despite telling him that she was with Nancy Wheeler and Mallory Rogers initially.

She was sinking into this pathetic hole of guilt every second that she thought about the whole shebang. From not telling Steve, feeling like she's betraying him and from the fact that she felt Eddie thought she was ashamed of him. That she wanted to keep him a dirty little secret, even though she felt the complete opposite. She was only keeping it on the down low for a while in case he decided that he'd kiss her once and then drop her immediately. This seemed to be a fear she always had, especially after watching it happen in so many movies, but unlike the films, Eddie Munson remained in her life. 

Since she wanted to keep Eddie around for at least a little bit longer, she was going to inform Steve of her predicament –minus the sneaking in through her window part and the making out in his van and then making out in her bed.

If she kept that from him, things should go smoothly.

To butter the boy up, Stephanie decided to stop at the local donut shop a few stores down from Family Video to get him and Robin some treats and a coffee each. Steve liked it black, claiming that he didn't have time for sugar or milk, and Robin is the complete opposite, she liked her coffees sweet with a lot of creamer. Stephanie was convinced that if you handed her warm milk and sugar, she'd think it was the best coffee she's ever had.

The bell rang over her head as soon as Stephanie entered the video rental shop, it was Wednesday night so it wasn't really busy and Robin was leaning against the counter with her head in her hand. Steve was behind her, talking about something that didn't seem to interest the girl.

Robin perked her head up at the sound of someone coming in, spotting Stephanie with her hands full of goodies.

"I come bearing gifts," Stephanie held up the bag and the tray of the coffees.

Robin immediately jumped over the counter, barrelling toward the other girl, "You are my new favourite Harrington."

There was a 'hey' sounding from behind her, coming from Steve.

Then there was an offended scoff coming from Stephanie who wasted no time in placing a hand over her heart as soon as Robin took the coffee from her hands.

"I wasn't your favourite before?"

Robin only sent her a wink, bringing the coffees and treats to Steve, although he didn't like donuts, so she bought him a danish instead. He's so high maintenance.

"What's up, Steph?" Steve asked as he nodded in her direction, making the girl instantly nervous as she thought about what she came here to do. Should she bring the subject of Eddie up right away? Or should she ease into it?

She came to the conclusion that easing into it would be better.

"Nothing much," She grabbed a donut from the bag, that she bought for herself. "I'm surprised none of your children are here, Steve."
