Chapter 2: The First Day

After taking shower Beomgyu goes outside. He looks at the sky. Today there was so many stars. He started thinking about the magician's words.
Beomgyu:The first? When I met them?

Flashback...a year ago

Beomgyu stands still outside the school gate. It's his first day at new school,in new country. Everything looks unfamiliar to him. He gathered all the courage and started to walk while being in deep thought. He started to think,"What if no one likes me? What if my first impression goes wrong? Will I able to make new friends?"

Suddenly he bumps into someone. Both of them falls in the ground.

Beomgyu:I am sorry. I wasn't watching.
Taehyun:Looks like you need more powerful glasses. Watch out where you are going.
Beomgyu:It wasn't intentional. And I said sorry.
Taehyun:And you are wasting my time.

Taehyun walks away.

Beomgyu: What a rude guy!

The school bell rings.

Soobin:The bell rang. Where is Yeonjun?
Huening Kai:I think he's going to be late again.
Soobin: Hey there Taehyun.
Taehyun: Hey.
Soobin: Why are you so grumpy today?
Taehyun: Just bumped into some idiot.
Huening Kai: Which idiot?
Taehyun: I don't know.

Soobin sighs.
The teacher enters the classroom.

Teacher: Everybody please take a sit. Today we have a new student with us. Please welcome him warmly. You can come now Beomgyu.

Beomgyu enters the classroom.

Teacher: Please introduce yourself.
Beomgyu: Hello everyone. My name is Choi Beomgyu. I transferred here from South Korea.
Teacher:There's an empty sit beside Taehyun. Soobin can you kindly assist him?
Soobin: Sure mam. Here's your sit. I am the class president. If you need to know anything feel free to tell me.
Beomgyu: I will.

Beomgyu and Taehyun make an eye contact. Both in mind,"Aissh,this guy out of all people?"

Teacher: Let's start today's lesson.
Beomgyu whispers to Taehyun: Hey!Why are you using earpods in class?
Taehyun:The lesson is too boring
Beomgyu: You are weird.
Taehyun:I can hear you.

Time pass by and everyone's favourite lunch time finally came.

Soobin,Taehyun and Kai was talking beside the lockers. Suddenly Yeonjun comes running.

Yeonjun:Hey guys.
Soobin: Why are you late again?
Yeonjun: I was so busy with dancing all night that I fall asleep in the morning.
Kai: Hyung,it's not good for your health.
Yeonjun:It's okay. I am fine.
Taehyun: Let's go to eat lunch. I am so hungry that I could eat an elephant.

Everyone laughs and heads towards their territory aka the table where only they sit. No one dares to sit there. They eat while talking. Suddenly Beomgyu enters the cafe with his lunch with a lonely look which caught Yeonjun's eyes.

Yeonjun: Who's that guy?
Soobin: Him? He's a new transfer student. I heard he's excellent in whatever he does. Also good in studies.
Yeonjun: Call him here.
Soobin: What?
Yeonjun: Invite him to eat lunch with us.
Soobin:Okay. Hey. Choi Beomgyu. Come here and with us.

Beomgyu approaches to them. He sits there nervously.

Beomgyu:Thanks for inviting me.
Soobin:This is Huening Kai and Yeonjun. Ig you already know Taehyun cause you sit beside him.
Beomgyu:It's nice to meet you guys.
Yeonjun:Why did you transfer to USA?
Beomgyu:My dad got promotion. So we had to move in here.
Yeonjun: What does your father do?
Beomgyu:He's a lawyer.
Yeonjun:Wow. Nice.
Taehyun:Did the principle told you to join clubs?
Beomgyu: Yeah. He said I need to be at least in two clubs.
Soobin: This school cares about your extracurricular activities a lot. Which is annoying. Did you decide which club you wanna join?
Beomgyu: Aniyo. I am still not sure....
Yeonjun:Let's help him out guys.
Huening Kai:Well we all are in dance club. Yeonjun is the president of dance club. He's also in the football team.Soobin is the president of school council. I am in gaming club and Taehyun is in boxing club.
Soobin:I wanted to join the gaming club badly. But my mother won't let me.
Yeonjun:Why don't you also join the dance club?
Beomgyu: Hmm. Dance club and art club is it.
Huening Kai: You draw?
Beomgyu: Yes. I love doing it. It gives me happiness.

Suddenly a girl walks to Taehyun. As soon as she entered the room, she gave a powerful presence. She was a full black outfit. She had waist length black wavy hair. Which looked heavenly with her tan skin. Her dark eyes were emotionless.

Alison: I was texting you whole day? Where have you been?
Taehyun: Sorry I was busy?
Alison:Busy with what?
Taehyun: Don't shout. I will be there tonight.
Alison:Whatever.

Alison looks at others and says "Hi" and walks away.

Beomgyu:Who was she?
Huening Kai:The baddest girl in our school. Also the president of boxing club and vice president of dance club.
Yeonjun: She's Taehyun's other best friend beside us.
Soobin:And my rival. I don't get it how does she gets good grades with this troublemaker personality.
Huening Kai: But I think she's cool.
Soobin:Shut up.
Beomgyu:So I am gonna go first. I have to submit my form for the club.
Everyone: Bye. See you later.

Beomgyu walks toward the principle office. Suddenly he hears a voice. It's Alison Romano!

Alison:Choi Beomgyu,right?
Beomgyu: Yes?
Alison: You know after seeing you guys i lunch reminded me my favourite movie.
Beomgyu: What's that?
Alison: Mean Girls. It totally looked like the lunch scene from the movie.
Beomgyu: What are you?5?
Alison:Well, I came here to talk about something else.
Beomgyu: Tell it quickly. I am busy.
Alison: If I were you I would be keeping a distance with them.
Beomgyu: Well, you are the one I think I should keep a distance.
Alison: They are not who you think they are. They are not good for you.
Beomgyu: I am mature enough to know what's good and bad for me.
Alison:Don't tell me later that I didn't warn you.

She winks at Beomgyu and walks away.
Beomgyu finishes submitting the form. He walks toward class. Suddenly Taehyun pulls him in a corner. Beomgyu was startled.

Taehyun:Did I startle you? I wanted to say sorry for the scene I made in the morning. I am sorry. Let's forget about it and start a new fresh start of our friendship?
Beomgyu: I was right. Someone didn't get his coffee in time this morning.
Taehyun: You are not funny.

Beomgyu chuckles.

Beomgyu:Can I tell you something?
Taehyun: Sure.
Beomgyu: Your friend Alison seems very weird.
Taehyun: Intimidating?Scary?
Beomgyu: Kinda....
Taehyun: She just loves intimidating people. She's not a bad person. Just don't mess with her. Otherwise she will make your life a living hell.
Beomgyu: I will keep that in mind.

Back to the present

So that's what Alison meant. She was right. I should have listened to her.
Beomgyu walks to Magician Taehyung's chamber.

Beomgyu: Can I come in?
Magician Taehyung: Come in, my child.
Beomgyu: This place is so creepy.
Magician Taehyung: So did you make your decision or you need more time.
Beomgyu: No. I made my decision.
Magician Taehyung:Remember, there's no turning back.
Beomgyu: I am sure of my decision. I WANT REVENGE.
