AUTUMN

After several minutes, we finally arrived in Athena University. The university is big and it's quite familiar. I could see the students walking inside and most of them are group of students. Seldus said that this is one of the famous university in this country. Even he said that this school is famous, I still don't remember that I have been in this school.

I declined and ignored his friendly advice to me. I don't think resting at this moment while I'm still clueless about myself will not help me to gain energy and recover. Ako ay tumanggi dahil gusto kong puntahan ang mga lugar na pamilyar sa akin o lagi kong pinupuntahan dahil pagkatapos kong bumalik sa panahong ito ay kaunti lamang na ala-ala ang aking na-aalala.

I only remembered Cradience who gave me traumatic memories and only few memories that we were together, grandfather and Seldus helped me to escape and they stayed by my side. They're only few, really. That's why I'm wondering why I only remembered few things. Does my memory adjusted at this moment? Perhaps it is. Kahit ang sinabi ni Seldus na may kakambal ako na nasa ospital ay hindi ko maalala. Hindi ko natatandaan na mayroon akong kapatid pero hindi niya sinabi kung babae o lalaki ba ang kapatid ko.

Maybe my biological twin is a girl. Mostly twins are same sexualities. That's only one of my observations in television and in every place that I had observed before.

"Cradience Varden," I mentioned again his name. "Is he studying here?" seryosong tanong ko. Gusto ko lang siguraduhin na hindi kami magkikita pa. Bukod sa gusto ko siyang tirisin na parang kuto, gusto kong sumbatan siya. At isa pa, hindi ako puwedeng maka-banggit ng kung anu-anong bagay lalo na kay Seldus.

When I fixed myself and prepared my things, I didn't see grandfather went home. He probably woke up early and just left breakfast above the table, with a letter.

"Oo, nag-aaral din siya rito. Mayaman iyon kaya kilalang-kilala. Pinakilala na kasi siya noong Hulyo at kitang-kita siya sa telebisyon," he answered. "Napakayabang nga tignan," he added as he crossed his arms. It was almost murmur but I still clearly heard it.

I squinted my eyes at him. "Hindi ba at mayaman ka rin? Parehas lang kayong dalawang galing sa mayamang pamilya."

"We are not rich as like them," he clarified. "Do you want to visit your twin after? We could visit him," he added that made me faltered. I blinked and blinked as if I heard something that I didn't expect to be heard. I averted my gaze at him with eyes widened because of disbelief.

"Ano ang ibig mong sabihin na him?" Gulat na gulat ako. Ang iniisip ko ngayon ay ayaw ko marinig mula sa kaniya. Wala namang problema sa pagkakaroon ng kapatid pero nakikita ko kasi minsan ay iba kung magkaroon ng mga kalokohan ang lalaki.

"Lalaki ang kapatid mo, lalaki," paglilinaw niya. "Auvinumn ang pangalan niya pero tawag ng karamihan ay Auvin. Sinabihan mo siya na bakla noong bata pa tayo." Tumawa ito pagkatapos. That's definitely I'm thinking now.

Nang magsimula na ang klase, pansin ko na napatitig ang karamihan sa akin. Alam ko naman ang rason kung bakit sila tumitingin. Marami kasi akong pasa at sugat pero hindi naman iyon masakit. Siguro dahil nasanay na ang katawan ko sa mga pananakit ni Cradience sa kasalukuyan.

I'm still thinking about my twin that Seldus was talking about. His name is familiar to me. Auvinumn Therental. My name is Autumn so my surname too is Therental. His name, Auvinumn is very very familiar. Kailangan ko siyang alalahanin bago kami pumunta sa ospital para bisitahin siya. I didn't ask Seldus about him because I already went inside of classroom to attend the class. I didn't ask about what happened to him, why he was sent in hospital and more questions.
