AUTUMN

The guy named Tristan, who is also the setter of their team, winked at me as he smiled sweetly. But to our surprise, our setter, who seems very pissed off, took the ball and he strike it directly to Tristan's direction. It fastly past by the net after his jump, and when the ball entered the net, the ball unexpectedly slammed on his face.

Nalaglag ang panga naming tatlo ni Tritus at Kivione dahil hindi kami makapaniwala sa ginawa ng setter namin. Dahil pagkatapos ng tirang iyon, kasabay niyon ay ang paghandusay niya sa sahig habang nakahawak sa mukha niyang namumula.

Lumapit naman agad si Tritus sa kinaroroonan niya at lumusot sa ilalim ng net. Sumunod naman dito si Kivione dahil sa biglang pagpunta ni Tritus sa kaniya.

"Tabi muna kayo. Doctor ito, doctor." Umupo si Tritus sa tabi ni Tristan at hinawakan ang pulsuhan. "Time of death, ten twenty-two am. Cause of death, ang matinding pagseselos ni Cradience."

Nagsimula namang magpigil sa pagtawa ang mga miyembro ng grupo namin dahil sa sinabi ni Tritus.

"Damn it," he cursed while groaning in pain because of the unexpected strike. "Tumabi ka ngang bata ka," inis na dagdag nito at hinila naman ni Kivione si Tritus pataas upang ilayo siya sa kaniya.

"Tumigil ka muna sa kalokohan mo, Tritus," turan ni Kivione sa kaniya. He just simply crossed his arms above his chest as he rolled his eyes at Kivione.

"Huwag ka nang tumayo, patay ka na nga hindi ba?" sagot pa nito kay Tristan.

"Aba loko itong batang ito—" Susugurin sana ng isang miyembro nila si Tritus pero pinigilan siya ng lalaking may itim hikaw sa kabilang tainga.

"Buti nga concern ako sa miyembro ninyo. Kung hindi, baka hindi na iyan tumayo sa pang-iinis ko," Tritus retorted.

"Wala namang kuwenta pag-dodoktor mo, Tritus!" tuloy na saway ni Kivione sa kaniya. "Pasensiya na po kayo sa kaniya. Bata pa kasi kaya ganiyan."

Tritus frowned at him. "Anong walang kuwenta? Minsan na nga lang akong maging concern sa kabilang panig. Idol ko nga sila, gagaling talaga nila. Tignan mo 'yong scoring board, tinalo na tayo," pamimilosopo niya. Kivione hit his nape and Tritus groaned in pain. Kivione forcedly smiled at them while giving them an apologetic looks. Kivione pulled him out from their line  while the setter of Poseidon team is holding a temper of anger.

Cradience simply crossed his arms above his chest as he flashed a playful smirk. "Don't worry, he will not die. I used the light one. That's not the heavy ball for match. It is for practice and made of very soft foam."

Inis na tumingin si Coach Hermes kay Cradience dahil unang-una ay ayaw niyang nagkakaroon ng gulo.

Lumapit si Coach Hermes kay Cradience habang hawak-hawak nito ang listahan at panulat na parang gusto niya na itong ihampas kay Cradience. Cradience only looked at him seriously and seemed not threatened by our coach's death glare.

"Humingi ka ng tawad, Cradience," mariin na sabi ni Coach Hermes. Cradience looked at him seriously and he avoided his face at him as it followed by his answer,

"I refuse, besides it didn't kill him. Auvinumn even hit the tough ball we have on my face. How could he act like a cry baby in a foam ball? That's nonsense," Cradience retorted with a presence of pride in his voice. The members from other group reacted by asking him to say sorry. I only brushed my short hair by my fingers as I let out a gasp. How could he become such a jerk? To be honest, he didn't do anything wrong. Why did he act like that?
