My friend and I were talking about the Percy Jackson book covers, which are, in our opinion, pretty bad. (THAT far away from the shore but only knee-deep? Unlikely)
So I told her I'd do a quick redesign of her least favorite, which was The Lightning Thief.
And, after a lot of Symmetry Assist and Empire State Building reference photos, I got this! I hope you like it. I used a normal font and then hand-drew the dots, waves, double-lines, and flourishes. I like how it turned out.
