I just realized that horses are SO much fun to draw!! I love their shapes and form. Plus, their colorings are all a blast! I did three of these back-to-back in three days, so I could keep the style consistent, and it was such a good challenge. I have drawn horses in the past, but not often (or well) and my skills are very rusty. The three horses I did are characters I made for a roleplay, if you are interested in joining, I'd love to share the link with you! The more, the merrier. ;3
Anyway, this is Salu! He is a bay stallion, and a Seer of his herd.

Salu is a sweet, considerate stallion who finds joy in bringing happiness to others. While he is usually very upbeat, he often has quieter, reflective moments. He struggles with feelings of emptiness and worthlessness, and tries to make up for it by being as helpful as possible. He is very intelligent, and is a skilled herbalist.
His left foreleg and knee are scarred from an accident as a colt, when he tried to jump a gully and instead crash-landed on the rocky bottom. It was not broken, but he cannot jump nearly at all, it jars the knee joint and pulls the tendons. Fortunately he can still run, and gallops with such a smooth, fluid gait that it isn't much of a problem. He very much dislikes it when someone brings it up or comments on his scars, so most horses know to just ignore it.
