Behold, my newest character! He is a nameless dog trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. (Well, not completely nameless. He has one, it's just unknown.)
The air quality is horrible, full of dust and fumes, so he wears a mask that supplies oxygen to his nose without having the tubes in front of his face. Some of it obviously escapes out of the bottom, but to fully enclose his face would be deadly, rendering him unable to defend himself against Those That Lurk. So, instead of a flat edge, it has huge, reinforced teeth to render his bites even more destructive. He hopes that someday he can find a bottom jaw and hinge it so it closes fully, somehow.
Anyway, the winner is ThatLastWolf!
Besides knowing it was a dog, they correctly guessed that those were oxygen tubes, and that the tag wasn't just a tag, but specifically a military dog tag! :D

And some details of the helmet and tubes! I loved making them, the sci-fi (fantasy?) apocalyptic theme was so much fun, and I experimented with a lot of different colors. I think my favorite part was adding the chips and scrapes everywhere. I tried to put them where they made sense, like over his nose, on the teeth, and across his eye (where a creature would naturally target).
