Panic. That was all y/n could feel. It started out small, they thought it'd be okay but then it increased. y/n was crouched in a family bathroom stall cringing while Nezha searched for them. They were both supposed to be out shopping for Nezha but the noises and crowds became too much, and people kept staring at you two. Nezha was used to this treatment but his partner was terrified. The bathroom's door swung open and revealed a panting lotus prince, looking at a sobbing y/n.
He slowly crouched down, not making sudden movements in case they got scared. He brought his hand to y/n's face and looked at their e/c eyes. y/n only sobbed more. He pulled them into a tight embrace and y/n clutched onto him for dear life. Sobbing into his shoulder, he stroked their back and cooed sweet nothings into their ear. Their breath evened out and their tears had dried, they pulled away and looked into Nezha's eyes solemnly. Nezha cupped his lover's cheek and softly smiled.
He then said calmly, "I don't know what that was, and you don't have to talk about it, but I'll always be here for you y/n. I love you." and he kissed y/n's nose. He picked them up, they were still shacked and couldn't talk at the moment. He softly said, "want to go home lotus?" y/n nodded, holding onto his like a little kid. And they both disappeared in a flurry of pink petals.
