Mei x Dog! GN! Reader

The day started off somewhat normal, for you at least. You were a dog hybrid so it was YOUR duty to guard certain things whenever the gods needed it. Honestly it was boring and tiresome having to work for gods, but it had some benefits. As you sat there, head in chin and leaning on your weapon, a girl in green approached with a person in red attire. You stood up swiftly, after all LBD was on the loose so you had to be careful guarding the remaining safe place.

"State your names and business please" you said curtly. One bowed and said, "I am Red Son, only child to DBK and PIF, this is my dear friend Mei, can we come in?" you recognized Red Son as the kid of the goddess you were working for at the moment and let them in. you bowed slightly as they walked in, however the green girl caught your eye, she was absolutely stunning and alluring. You both held eye contact before she went in, you looked down to see her holding Red Son's hand. 'Oh...' you thought to yourself sadly.

As you turned back around and closed the door, you just couldn't stop thinking of her... Red Son had said her name was Mei... "Mei." you whispered to yourself. You couldn't stop thinking of her all day, she was just so beautiful, and they DID say that the two were only friends, if Red Son and Mei were dating she would've mentioned it right? The sun had set before you knew it and you started to grow hungry. Unfortunately you ate your food beforehand and had none left.

You sighed and sat down on the steps, thinking to yourself. Soon the green haired girl invaded your thoughts once again and she just couldn't get out. You found yourself drawing her in the dirt, fuck. The door opened behind you and you stood up quickly, ready to attack, but it was just Mei. She looked different, she had a blue sleeveless robe on and her hair was up in ponytails. You let out a breath, relaxed and said, "sorry, you frightened me, is there anything you need?" she nodded, seeming sad.

It twisted your heart seeing her glum and you sat back down, offering her to sit with you. She sat down and she set down a bowl of meatballs in between you both. You tried not to stare at the food, but it looked so good and you were hungry. You found yourself drooling and she only chuckled and said, "Would you like one?" you nodded quickly and she gave you some. "So-" you swallowed your food-"What do you need Ms. Mei?" "i... it's been pretty hectic lately, so i needed some air and Red boy wouldn't leave me alone so he said i could be here as long as you were awake. And you are." you nodded in understanding.

Reflections of the stars swimmed in her eyes and started to fall down her face. She started crying, shaking slightly. Your eyes widened and your stomach turned in knots as you held onto her, along with her leaning into you. You stoked her hair as she started to spill her heart out to you, the gods did this sometimes but this hurt your heart. You didn't know who MK, Sandy, Tang, and Pigsy were but she told you how she felt like she hurt them and how she was scared to hurt them again. You only listened to her, and reassured her when she needed it.

"I-im sorry, I shouldn't even b-be telling you this..." she said in between sobs as she moved away from you. A red tint started to form around her and you grabbed her face, squishing it slightly as you wiped her tears with your thumbs. "Hey, It's okay, you have feelings, and they need to come out one way or another. Please don't apologize for doing it in the healthiest way, you're hurting and you feel like you can't control things, so being able to control your sadness is beyond impressive."

She looked into your eyes softly and held onto your hands and after five minutes you whispered, "Y'know, your eyes are really pretty..." your words finally registered in your mind and you became a red mess. She laughed, and boy, it melted your heart. She looked into your eyes after the laughter died down and she said as she cupped your cheek in one hand, "your eyes are pretty neat too." and kissed your nose. You were frozen as she made her back into the place.
