Screams and screeches of excitement were heard loud and clear from Mei's room. Today y/n (Mei's partner) was over for a sleepover and Mei had bright out their favorite snacks. Right now, they were watching 'the office' and a funny line had just played. y/n fell over, clutching their stomach and crying all over Mei's floor. The laughter died down and y/n looked over to Mei to see her chewing her nails. "Sweetie, you've gotta stop doing that." and held her hands in their own. "Mmm no." Mei said with a mischievous look."Mei." Y/n said sternly and grabbed green nail polish.
Then they cheerfully declared, "Today, will be an us day." and started painting Mei's nails. Mei giggled at the occasional strokes on her skin and her lover's words. And y/n smiled softly, focused on Mei's hands. Mei had a tendency to bite her nails and so y/n would paint them so she didn't hurt or damage something her partner gave her. So they both sat there, y/n painting her nails. Once they were done and dry, Mei pinned them to the ground, surprising y/n. And she grabbed a make-up palette that was nearby. "Mei wh-" y/n started to say but was shushed by Mei.
Mei sat upright, still on y/n and made y/n's face red. She started to use very bright colors for the lipstick, eye shadow, etc etc. making y/n a living neon alien. "That tickles!!!" y/n said laughing as Mei dabbed on more blush. Then she smiled widely and said, "Finished!" and crawled off. They both went to the bathroom mirror and y/n looked at themselves. When they were done looking at their face from all directions they said, "hmmm... I think this color of lipstick isn't right for me." Mei's face fell slightly, it was only a really bright version of your favorite color. Then they said, "I know how to fix it!" and kissed Mei on the lips, lovingly and whole-heartedly. Mei had melted into the kiss and held their face in her hands.
