Nezha x Nine Tailed Fox! Gender neutral! reader part 2

 Nezha's POV:

I left a trail of flower petals for y/n, so that they could get here easily. I only waited at the table, out of armor. It's been a long while since someone came here, so I'll do my best to be a good host. I taped on the table, the longer they took to come, the more anxious I became. So when I heard a knock and the door opened, I lit up, but I didn't smile, I didn't really do... THAT. y/n walked in, with the clothes i selected for them, and the dirt has been washed off.

They were alluring, sure, but that alone wouldn't get them too far, so when they politely bowed and thanked me, I was a little surprised. Usually demons who looked attractive weren't polite to their superiors, but this one was very different. So when they rose I told them they may sit. And they did. When I take in people they're usually rude and disruptive, but y/n was polite and calm. We both ate while talking at times, learning more about each other.

When we finished y/n spoke up, "Thank you prince Nezha, and i'm sorry for the inconvenience." but I denied this. "You're actually really nice to be around, and talking to you has been wonderful. Would you believe me if I said that you're the only one in hundreds of years to use your manners?" They seemed shocked to hear this. The room filled with laughter and chuckles, it was far too contagious and soon I found myself laughing as well. They stifled a yawn and said as they rose out of their chair "I should be on my way, I don't want to be a bother." but I grabbed their hand. I didn't even know what I was doing, but the words came out regardless.

"No! I mean... No, please. It's been so long since someone has ever come here, and you seem so nice, so please, stay, or visit soon..." I haven't spoken like this in forever, but it felt like a weight was pulled off of my chest. "Okay, I'll stay for the night, but that means whenever I visit you tour me around here, it's like a maze." and for what felt like an eternity, I smiled, truly happy that they were here. I don't remember eating butterflies, but it seemed like they were fluttering around in my stomach.
