"y/n? Have you finished those upgrades?" Syntax said over his shoulder. "NOT YET!" you shouted over a pile of technology they were holding. You set them down and started to work on the spider bots. Before you even knew it, Syntax had already left and the sun had risen, but how could you? You were in a cave after all. You felt groggy and overworked, the five days of non-stop work getting to you. You had finished the Upgrades and went to the queen, who also happened to be the love of your life and your girlfriend, to report it. She was talking with the mystery girl, you didn't really like her but your girlfriend wanted her here so you just brushed it off.
"And- oh! Hello Webs! Did you finish it?" Spider Queen said, while the mystery girl just glared at you. Your eyes were droopy and you smiled sleepily and said, "yes! Is there anything you need me to do dear?" she hummed and said, "no i don't th-" but the girl interrupted her and said harshly, "Actually, WE need you to get some supplies from the city." and she nodded to the mayor and he gave you a list. You basically ripped it out of his hands and smiled annoyingly at him. You turned away and made your way to the exit of the cave.
You couldn't even make it halfway there before you collapsed and fell asleep on the ground. Meanwhile Spider Queen was trying to reason with LBD to give you a break. And spider queen left, walking around to try to find you, so when she found you passed out on the ground she was obviously shocked. She checked your pulse and sighed in relief when she realized you were only sleeping. She felt so bad for making you work to the point of exhaustion and carried you bridal style to your room.
She had set you on your bed and was about to leave when you grabbed her hand and said, "stay, please..." she looked back towards the door, trying to decide if she should stay or not, and sighed in defeat as she made her way into bed with them. She had taken her crown off and was hugging you as you nuzzled into her chest, wrapping your arms around her torso. "You have to take breaks, y/n, i don't want you to overwork yourself okay?"
you looked up towards her and said, "I'm sorry, it's just you've been so occupied with the girl that.. I don't know, I guess I felt jealous that she had your attention, so I threw myself into the work... I won't do it again." she sighed and said, "and from now on, I'll do my best to give you the attention you deserve, I love you." "I love you too." and you both fell asleep, completely oblivious to LBD's plan.
