Filming the EIOYT has been pretty smooth so far. Ian, Jackie and Spencer have eaten, Spencer getting the only good meal so far. Shayne and Amanda are arguing about who should take the Big Bite, which is pretty entertaining. I keep finding myself staring at Shayne, which will not bode well for the comments. I can already see them.
Shourtney fans going wild over just the way I've been looking at him. It's strange to think about the fact that they're actually right when they make those assumptions now. A small part of me is almost excited to see the comments. To know that people think Shayne is mine.
Jesus. I really hate myself.
"Are you ready for last one before the Big Bite?" I bend down in front of the table, one hand on the food cover. They nod. I pull the cover up and reveal a very questionable looking pizza. Amanda is the only one who goes for it, immediately regretting hitting the bell.
"Wait! No! I do NOT want that!" She yelps as I move it towards her. Everyone at the table and behind the cameras starts laughing as she grips Spencers' shirt in her hands.
"You ready~?" I rub her shoulder, giggling with the rest of the room.
"Do I have a choice?" She picks up a slice and gags at the way it moves.
"Nope." I smile. I'm so lucky that I opted out of this.
"3! 2! 1!" She takes a bite and immediately waves her hands for the spit bucket. She tries to swallow it but to no avail.
"Oh my, God! Oh my, God! That's was horrible!" She yells grabbing a water bottle from Garrett, glaring into his soul. "Aaah!" She shakes her arms.
"Describe it?" Ian says laughing, earning a glare from Amanda.
"It was like, spongey. And it's like, not cheese." She tries to explain, washing her mouth out with water.
"Would you like to know what you just consumed?" I ask after the chaos has calmed down a little.
"Not really, but sure." She says shrugging it off, acting normal, making everyone laugh again. I read off of the card in my hand.
"That was what we like to call a 'sweet pizza'. Instead of pizza dough, it was a pancake, and instead of mozzarella, it was cream cheese. It still had regular pizza sauce and herbs though." I rub her shoulders to comfort her after pocketing the card.
"I hate you." She says glaring at Shayne.
"W-What? I didn't do anything?" He says in a high-pitched voice. I find myself staring at him again. Remembering I have a job to do, I turn my brain back on.
"Well, Amanda, congratulations, you are safe from the Big Bite." I say pulling her bib off. My eyes meet Shayne's. "And, Shayne, you are yet again going to be eating it." I smile at him. "Eyes closed everyone." I chant as I get the last dish from Garrett.
It's the first good Big Bite in a long time, but I know Garrett made it look bad on purpose. It's a pistachio gelato, but he dyed it black and let it melt so it's kind of soupy. I place it on the table and stand behind him.
"Alright, eyes open." They all look at it and shudder. It definitely doesn't look appetising. "You want to ding the bell?" I touch his arm, but quickly retract my hand, quelling the burning sensation on my skin. Gingerly, he reaches out and dings the bell, scattered applause coming from around the room.
"You ready?" I can't help but put my hand on his back. The contact makes me feel steady. He takes a large spoonful which makes Jackie shudder and giggle uncomfortably next to him.
