"What the fuck," Ella blurted out.
"What? What happened????" her friends ask her, specifically Bea T., Kiwi, and Synjin.
"Check niyo ig ni Ly at Den, fuck, anong nangyari," Ella said, agitated. She tried to call her two bestfriends pero parehong cannot be reached, "THE FUCK?" she shouted.
"Hey, Ells, calm down," Kiwi said.
"They are supposed to come home tomorrow, bakit may biglang ganyang drama???" Ella asked her friends na nasa profile nung dalawa. All photos were gone, both have black icons. Same sa FB and sa Twitter.
"Malay mo they are just pranking us," Synjin said.
"Or they broke up..." Ella said.
"There's no fucking way those two will break up," sabi naman ni Bea, "duh???"
"Bea has a point," Kiwi agreed, "tsaka Ells, seriously, sayo pa nanggaling?"
Ella sighed, "I don't know. Baka I'm being paranoid lang. They are supposed to announce an engagement, not this!" she exclaimed.
"WHAT????" her friends reacted.
Nagulat pa si Ella when she heard her friends' reaction, "oh.... yeah," she just said.
"What do you mean?!"
Ella shrugged, "they're both planning to propose sa Singapore. Unknown of each other's plans. Kaya kung prank lang 'to, and when they announced, pretend you're shocked!"
Bea laughed, "really? Even sa proposal, same sila ng plano?"
"Yeah," Ella smiled as she remember Ly and Den both telling her na they will propose to each other sa Singapore. To be specific, to that church where Alyssa posted a picture of them before Den went to med school pa, "so kung ano man yang ganap ng dalawang yan ngayon and if it's the exact opposite of what's supposed to happen, I swear I'm throwing hands!"
Her friends laughed, "let's just believe in them, Ells. I'm sure they onto something, knowing them," Kiwi commented and the rest nodded their heads.
Ella De Jesus: Where the heck are you both? Seryoso it's not funny na!
Ella De Jesus: You're supposed to go home last week!! What's happening!!!!
Ella De Jesus: At least tell us na you're both safe. Malay ba namin kung buhay pa kayo? Naiinis na ako!!
Ella De Jesus: I swear I'm going to go Singapore and Japan right now pag hindi pa kayo sumagot!
Ella De Jesus: Joke lang, mahal airfare ngayon. Pero seryoso kasi, pwede ba sumagot kayong dalawa? Wala na kayong babalikan na bestfriend pagkauwi niyo!!!
Ella De Jesus: Just tell me you're both safe so I'll stop worrying, ano ba? Kakainis na!!
"Did they reply to your messages na, Ells?" Kiwi asked when they got together.
Ella shook her head, "they are not even getting delivered. Maybe we should ask sila Tita, kasi kung nawawala yung dalawa yun, I'm sure minessage na ako nila Tita."
"And ngayon mo lang naisip yan?" Bea asked.
"At least naisip ko," Ella sarcastically answered and called Ly's mother.
After the call, bumalik si Ella sa mga kaibigan niya, "yep, those two are onto something."
"Anong sabi ni tita?"
