"Shit!" Kiefer almost fell on his chair dahil sa pagbagsak ni Ly sa bag niya, "Ly naman! Papapatayin mo ba ko sa gulat?!" reklamo nito.
"Dapat lang 'yan sa mga cheater," badtrip na sabi ni Ly.
"Woah woah woah, that was low ha! Di naman kita jowa," sabi ni Kiefer, tas tinignan yung nakasimangot na mukha ni Ly, "alam ko na, nag-away kayo ni Den noh?"
"Tsk," Ly just hissed, not looking at Kiefer.
"Dapat in-expect mo na 'yan, if I were her, I'd gone mad, too."
"I already expected it, okay? But I still hoped she'll understand the situation."
"You can't blame your girlfriend, Ly, she has every rights to get mad, hahaha!"
"Why don't we just cut off this fucking contract?" Ly asked Kiefer seriously. Kiefer smiled at her sadly.
"I would love to, Ly, kahit ako I want to see you happy with Den, pero alam nating tatlo na hindi pwede, ngayong pati si Den hawak na niya," Kiefer said, Ly sighed.
"Why did she sign up for PSL kasi?!" Ly asked Kiefer.
"I guess Den really wants international stints and PVL can't give that."
"I'm so tired of playing this sick games, Kief. I don't want to fabricate the truth anymore. I feel bad for my fans, we're manipulating them."
"No, Ly, we're not, dahil pati tayo, minamanipula nila," Kiefer said, Ly sighed and nodded.
"Bakit ba umabot sa ganto," Ly whispered.
"Don't worry, one more year, one last year," Kiefer assured Ly. After all, he wants to help his friend.
Ly went home earlier than the usual, gusto niyang bumawi kay Den. kaninang umaga kasi when they both woke up, cold shoulder treatment ang ganap. She even bought flowers for the latter. She smiled when she reached their doorstep, inamoy niya pa yung flowers bago binuksan ang pinto, her smile instantly faded away when there was no one waiting for her, there's no Den waiting for her to come home. Bigla niyang naalala yung sinabi sa kanya ni Den kagabi.
"No," she said tsaka nagmadaling kinuha yung phone niya sa bag niya and dialled Den's number, after 2 rings, may sumagot, "Den? Babe?" Ly worriedly called Den's name, she even called Den 'babe' kahit hindi pa niya alam kung si Den ba talaga yung sumagot.
"So AD is real?" Ly heard someone's voice on the other line.
"Besh," she said.
"Gaga ka, makatawag ka ng babe dyan kay Den, pano kung di ako yung sumagot ha?" sermon ni Ella.
"Where's Den?" Ly asked.
"Nasa CR, nandito kami sa Cafe Luna, at nakwento na rin niya sakin, so, ano na, Ly?" Ella disappointedly asked her friend.
"Ells... you know naman di 'ba? I signed a contract."
"Na dapat, at the first place, you didn't," Ella said.
"Besh, let's not talk about this ngayon, okay? Wala pa ba si Den?"
"She's here, pero ayaw ka niyang kausapin," Ella said while looking at Den sa harap niya na hindi naman talaga nag-CR, Den just shook her head. She heard Ly sighed.
"Sige, at least panatag akong ikaw kasama niya, just.. just update me if pauwi na kayo, I know she'll not text me," Ly requested to Ella.
"Sure, see you soonest para mabatukan naman kita," Ella said kay Ly.
