Den rolled her eyes when she saw someone waiting at the doorstep of our flat. Nakita ko yun and I smiled awkardly
"Woah woah woah, did you two go to the beach and nagbilad sa araw for the whole day????" he asked us na obviously nang-iinis lang.
"Permit to punch you, Kief," mataray na sabi ni Den and automatic na nagtago si Kiefer sa likod ko na kinalaki ng mata ko. Den looked at us with her eyebrows creased, agad naman akong lumapit kay Den, leaving Kiefer.
"Hoy Ly!! Ba't mo ko iniwan?!" reklamo ni Kiefer.
"Bahala ka dyan," sabi ko lang tas ako naman yung nagtago sa likod ni Den, "ano bang ginagawa mo dito?" I asked him, sumeryoso naman siya.
"Pweds sa loob tayo mag-usap? Ngawit na rin kasi ako dito," biro niya. I felt Den sighed and she opened the door without letting go of my hand. Tahimik lang kaming pumasok sa loob and Kiefer made her way to one of our couches sa living room.
I sat on the couch beside his katabi si Den.
"Hindi muna kayo mag-aayos or what?" he asks.
"Wag na, alam ko namang nandito ka dahil may bad news," sabi ko sa kanya.
"Grabe ka Ly ha," sabi lang ni Kief, "here's the thing, since you two were obviously busy for the whole day, you didn't get to open your social medias, right?" I nodded, si Den tahimik lang, I wonder what's going on inside her mind.
"What is it?" Den asked.
"There's a picture of you girls somewhere in Tanay Rizal, doon ba kayo galing?" nanlamig ako sa sinabi ni Kiefer. Shit, halos wala na nga kaming makita ni Den dahil sa pagtatakip namin ng mukha tapos may nakakilala pa rin sa amin?! "from the looks of it, mukhang kayo nga yung dalawang yun."
"Can I see it?" tanong ni Den, Kief nods then he get her phone at may hinanap then binigay niya kay Den, nanlaki mata ko when I saw us holding hands habang kausap si Kuya Leo, it's us, damn, it's us! "so fans are speculating na kami 'to?"
"Well, yeah, though hardly recognized yung faces niyo, yung nag-caption said it was the two of you," sabi ni Kiefer, "and they're not happy about this," sabi ni Kiefer.
"Fuck," I hissed, "I don't care if they are not happy about us, Kief!" galit kong sabi. I felt Den hold my hand tight, pinapakalma ako.
"Ly, you signed the contract, and from what you did, you violated one of the agreements," Kief said, he's obviously uncomfortable sa sinabi niya. I just clenched my jaw, I'm freaking pissed right now.
"What do you want us to do, then?" Den asks, I'm actually surprised na hindi niya pa sinisigawan si Kiefer.
"Same old shit, Den, post anything about you and LA, might as well, palabasin mong kayo magkasama today and I will do the same for Ly," sabi ni Kief. Tahimik lang kami, shit, paano ba ko napunta sa sitwasyon na 'to, shit shit shit, why did I even sign that fucking nonsense contract!!!!!!
"I'm sorry," bulong ko kay Den, hiding my face behind her head, "I'm really sorry," I felt her hand squeezed mine, I know she's hurting.
"Fine," sabi ni Den. I sighed.
"I'm sorry, Ly, Den," malungkot na sabi ni Kiefer.
Gaya ng napag-usapan namin, Den posted an old photo of her and LA na hindi pa nakikita ng public, pinalabas niyang she was with him for the whole day, while Kiefer did the same. And mukhang binili naman ng fans namin, I just don't know about AD shippers, I'm sure they know better.
"I'm sorry," I said to her while she's changing her clothes. I heard her sigh, "it was a great day pero nasira lang ng ganun."
"Babe," she said tsaka lumapit sa'kin, "I don't regret anything from today," she said while smiling, "I don't care kung kumalat man yon or what, I don't really care kasi what's important ay yung nakasama kita today and we're happy, don't say sorry," I pulled her for a hug.
