"So, kamusta naman ang buhay out?" Ella asked as soon as she sat on her bestfriends' couch.
"I didn't know Ly can be very PDA," Den answered, looking at Alyssa, giving her a teasing look.
Natawa naman si Ella, "ano ka ba besh, tagal niyang hinintay i-show off ka, let her be."
"Oo nga!" Alyssa agreed as she gives Ella a glass of juice, then she sat down beside her, "besh, namiss kita," she said and hugged Ella tight.
"Alam mo Ly you've been saying that since umalis ako, buntis ka ba?" Ella joked.
"Di naman ako mabubuntis ng dila ni Den," Ly answered and right on cue, nabuga ni Ella yung iniinom nyang juice.
"FUCK!" Ella uttered, tawang-tawa si Den sa reaction ng bestfriend niya.
"This is gold," Den said while laughing.
"The fuck, Ly, do I need that information?!" Ella asked as she wipe the juice on her shirt.
"Sorry besh," Ly apologized but didn't sound like one cause she's laughing her ass off.
Binato na lang siya ni Ella ng hawak nitong tissue.
"So kamusta naman, did you find yourself?" Alyssa asked.
Ella chuckled, "kahit pa ata pumunta ako sa dulo ng mundo, baka di ko pa rin mahanap," she started, making AlyDen look at each other, "what if I already found myself pero ayoko kung sino talaga ako?"
"Besh," Den said, "there's nothing wrong with you. Kahit sino ka pa, or ano ka pa, ikaw yan e."
"Yun na nga besh, what if, what if I'm not the person I want to be?"
"Then continue to still work on it so you can be the person you want to be," Alyssa commented, "kung ngayon, hindi mo pa gusto yung sarili mo, work hard to be better, but don't ever think you're worth any less. Alam mo besh, you're one of the most amazing persons I know, you are literally our rock, so please don't ever think of yourself any less okay? Mahal ka namin, kahit sino or ano ka pa."
Ella stared at Alyssa for a while, speechless at what she heard, she knew Alyssa for a decade now at minsan lang 'to magsalita, usually between AlyDen, Den has always been the one who gives advices, so hearing that from Ly hit her right on the heart.
And then, AD saw their bestfriend crumble down and finally admitted through her tears that she's been hurting.
Den sighed, her eyes are watery seeing her bestfriend like this, she went beside her and stroke her back. Ly just let Ella cry on her shoulder.
A month ago, Ella told them she'll be somewhere in North for a month, soul searching. She didn't give any details as to where or kung anong gagawin niya, tinry ni Den pilitin si Ella to give more info but Ella refused so they let her be.
For the two, it hurts a lot to see their bestfriend who has been there for them thru thick and thin be like this, but they're glad Ella finally let herself be weak just for once.
"Paabot nung pizza," Ella said, talking about the pizza on the kitchen counter na kakarating lang from delivery.
"Okay na nga siya," bulong ni Ly.
"Alyssa narinig kita, nakakagutom kaya umiyak," Ella defended herself.
Den handed Ella the box of pizza and sat beside Ly. Ly, as if it's a muscle memory, snaked her arm around Den's waist and gave Den a quick kiss on the head.
"Pero seryoso? Kamusta?" Ella asked, talking about her question earlier.
"Finally felt like a normal person," Ly answered, "though we still both get hate messages minsan but deadma, minsan nga lang Den can't stop herself."
