After - A Delena Story

18 - Announcement -

"So. Believe it or not you're not all here because we actually want to see you." Damon smiles and I smack his arm.

"We have an announcement." He says.

Caroline has the biggest grin on her face that it probably hurts.

We move the girls off our laps and they sit on the couch so we can stand up.

"I'm pregnant." I announce and everyone looks shocked. Everyone except Caroline and Bonnie.

"Oh my god!" Jo shrieks.
"You knew didn't you?" Stefan asks Caroline and she nods manically.

Caroline lets out a big sigh of relief, "It's been so hard keeping it from you!" She exclaims.

"You've known for a few days." Damon reminds her.
"Exactly." She grins.

Everyone jumps up from their seats and starts congratulating us and hugging us.

"How long have you known?" Jo asks me.

"Not long, actually the day before we babysat for you guys I found out with Bonnie and Caroline. Then I told Damon when we got home from your house." I tell her.

We all sit back down and the girls climb back onto our laps.

"What's pregnant?" Lucy asks, looking up at me.

"Well." I start but Damon interrupts me, "It means there's a baby inside her tummy and in a few months she's going to explode and it will fly out of her." He says.

"Ahh!" Lucy screams and Damon laughs.
"That's not funny Damon!" I smack the back of his head and he rubs it.

"It means there's a baby growing in my tummy and soon it will come out of me." I correct him.
"Will you explode?" Livvy asks and I shake my head.

"I won't explode." I reassure her.

"Good." Lucy smiles.
"Ugh." Livvy groans.

"You want me to explode?" I ask Livvy.
"It would be cool!" She yells and Damon laughs.

"That's my girl." He chuckles and holds his hand up so
she can high-five him.

"I'm bored." Lucy whispers into my ear.
"What do you want to do then?" I ask, matching her tone and volume.

"Hide n seek." She whispers back with a smile.
"Okay. Go hide." I tell her.

She hops down from my lap and grabs Livvy's hand.
"Come on!" She yells to Livvy and they run off.

"Where are they off?" Damon asks.
"Hide n seek." I smile.

"No. Not again." He groans.
"Better go hide." I say and he gets up from the couch.

"Somebody kill me." He mutters under his breath.
Everyone puts their hand up and Damon rolls his eyes.

"Rude." He mumbles and leaves the room.

We talk for another few minutes, most of it being Caroline going on about the wedding or the baby.

She's the most excited out of us all.

"I better go find them. This house is massive." I say and get up.

That didn't go how I expected.

Everyone was really happy, they congratulated us, hugged us and then we sat back down and started talking again.

I'm just relieved they all reacted well.

Now I'm walking around the house trying to find two small children and one big child.
