CLEAN CHAPTER 9

Hermione POV:

I grabbed his neck and pulled him into a kiss. He rolled off me and I looked at him.

"So I tell you I like you, we have sex, and that's it? We haven't even talked yet." I said, he put his arm around me.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Well... Are we together?"

"Do you want to be?" He asked. I thought about it for a minute, I mean, did I really want to be in a relationship with Malfoy? Could he commit? Maybe I shouldn't...

"I think we should wait." I said. He looked at me shocked

"....okay?"

"Okay" I said. I stood up using the sheet to cover myself. I walked over too my bedroom and got back into my clothes.

I ran up too Gryffindor tower hoping Ginny was there. I blurted the password and ran in. I saw Ginny sitting on the couch, but all of a sudden it felt like everything was in slow motion. Did I really want to tell Ginny? Maybe I should wait.

"Hermione? Are you okay? You look tired!"

"I'm fine, just on a run and I thought I'd stop by" I said breathing heavily

"Right...." She said obviously not buying it.

"So are you going to tell me why you're really here?"

"Um. Yes. Well, I was wondering I. You wanted to go too Hosmeade."

"I'm always up for Hogsmeade"

"Great, let's go!" I said and she put in a m scarf because it was getting cold outside.

When we got there Ginny seemed to be in a really really bad mood.

"You wanna go to Honeydukes?" I asked, she glared at me

"I can't go to Honeydukes! I'm on a no sugar diet, GOD HERMIONE YOU'RE SO STUPID!" Then she stormed away. She left me there in shock as to what I did to deserve that reaction. I gained my senses and ran after her. She was fast! She finally stopped on a rock... Funny she should stop in that rock of all rocks. That rock is where Harry wept when he found out Sirius was his godfather.

I walked over to her slowly and gently touched her shoulder

"I'm sorry Ginny.... I had no idea you where on a diet."

"It's a new thing.... I need to lose weight and this whole not eating sugar thing has made me grumpy."

"I don't know what you're talking about! You're so skinny!" I said, she shrugged.

"But Hermione its not just the diet! You've been distant lately."

".... Well I was kind of in a coma." That's when I remembered. George. I widened my eyes

"Ginny! I have to go! Right now!" And I ran off. I found the nearest fireplace and Flooed over to his shop.

When I stepped out of the fireplace I looked around to see it full of people. Business is booming right now, maybe I should just come back another time. This will be a long conversation. I turned around to walk away when I heard Simons call my name

"Granger? Is that you?" He said. I turned around to see the familiar red head grinning at me. He opened his arms for a hug
"Granger! I didn't know you where awake yet! I'm glad you stopped by"

"George. We need to talk."

"Right now?"

"Just stop by the school when you're done here. Floo powder into me and Draco's fireplace on floor 7 and the password is Pumpkin Juice."

"Umm.... You and Draco's fireplace? Tell me he's not head boy.... Ginny has been keeping me updated about you, but she failed to mention that."

"Yeah..... It sucked at first. Now it's all okay, we are actually friends. But anyway, we need to talk as soon as you get a chance"

"Is it important?"

"It's not life and death" I thought about what I had just said. It technically was but it wasn't an emergency.

He looked at me for a second then hugged me and placed his chin on my head. I could feel a tear trickle down my face thinking about his brother. He pulled away when I sniffled and he bent down a little

"Granger? You okay?" He said putting his finger under my chin. I quickly wiped away my tears and nodded

"I'm fine. We really need to talk soon." I said my eyes probably puffy.

"Okay I'll come by as soon as I'm one here"

"Okay. I said then I walked into the fireplace and Flooed to our fireplace. As soon as entered the common room I see our table flipped over, our couch pillows thrown everywhere, the couch itself on its side.

"Draco?! MALFOY?!?" I yelled. I walked into his room to see him sitting on his bed surrounded by empty glass bottles. He looked up at me sadly

"I've done it.... I always manage to do something. I'm sorry."
