Nia's POV
We had already finished a bottle of sake. Eun-kyung had drunk most of it.
"Like come on how the fuck won't you understand the problem. It's like to the world your ex-wife is like your wife while your current wife has no identity." She downed the glass of sake.
"Danny she has always been a bit muddle headed when it comes to things like this." I shrugged and then poured her another glass of sake as she ate some sashimi.
"Would she like if my ex-husband came and still called me wife? No of course not she will create a whole fucking scene cause of it. Oh and don't get me started on the fact that she made people follow both me and Sora. You know how fucking scared Sora was. How fucking scared I had gotten. If I hadn't gone over to Danny's office today I wouldn't have even figured this out. I understand it was for our safety but fucking tell me about it so I would feel safe instead of fucking hiding it and blabbing shit in Romanian all the time." She sipped on the sake as I looked at me confused.
"Romanian?" I was a bit confused.
"Yeah I don't know what she's trying to do but like she keeps getting up in the middle of the night to smoke. I have told her to use the bathroom so she sits in there and talks to someone in Romanian in the middle of the night."
"It might be something related to her grandfather's side don't think too much about it." I said with a smile.
"Also the whole Marcella thing. I know I told her I'm ok with her being friends with Marcella. like I'm matured and I understand they used to be friends before the whole mess but like come on. I see you smile only 10 times a day and 70% of it is you looking at your phone talking to her. What the hell is soo interesting? She looks at her phone smiling like a lovestruck teenager. Whatever we do, let it be a dinner movie or anything. she is stuck to her phone like glue. Bloody we were making out and she stopped it cause she got a call from Marcella. I mean if it was something important I would have understood but you're there talking about your day. I'm fucking sitting on your bed shirtless and your there talking to some other girl about her day?!" She gulped down another glass of sake after which I put my hand on her. "Slow down a little. Drink some water." I said and passed her the glass of water.
"Why are you soo nice?" She asked me out of nowhere.
"I'm not nice, I just know what you're going through." I shrugged as I sipped on my sake. Not like I can straight up tell her that Danny hasn't realized she is in love with Marcella. "Danny, how should I say this... If you think she is going to cheat on you there, trust me she won't."
"I know she won't, for a fact even know she won't dump me. I heard her tell Marcella that the only way she would leave me is if I dump her. I mean why would I? I'm happy with her. if you ignore all this stupid problems. She's amazing with Sora. Treats her like her own daughter. She does these small things like washing the dishes when I come back late from work or helping Sora with her homework. She even waits for me on the days I come back home late. She even cooks and packs a tiffin for Sora when she wakes up early. She makes me laugh when I'm having a bad day. Basically she's perfect if you forget the existence of Marcella of course." She downed another shot.
"Do you want my honest opinion?" I said as I couldn't take this anymore. Someone needs to stop her before she falls in too deep.
"Yes, that's why i'm talking to you. Give it to me straight!" She poured another glass of sake and gulped it down. Oh god!
"Danny... How should I put this." I tried to thing of words that would be less rude but I don't think there is a less rude way to say this "She likes you very much but she hasn't realised she doesn't love you. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?" Hoping I didn't have to explain this to her like an elementary school teacher.
