Eun-Kyung POV
I walked off the dance floor once Danny left and went to check on the kitchen. When I came back I saw Nia walking in looking very angry. This made me pick up 2 glasses of champagne and walk towards her.
"You ok?" I asked her as I gave her one of the glasses. She took it and chugged it. I offered her my glass too which she chugged again. "I'm fucking never trying to get people together ever again." She said almost growling.
"Ok ok i guess we need something stronger." I said and called the waiter. Whispering in his ears to get us a bottle of whiskey.
After that I didn't say anything as we sat on the corner table and sipped on our drinks. Once she had calmed down a little she said "That bitch tried to punch me."
"OMG are you hurt?" I asked, grabbing her face and looking at it.
"No no, I'm fine. I deflect it with my hand. Which to be honest hurts a little but I'll be fine." She said as she squeezed her biceps.
As Nia and I spoke we got pretty drunk. "You like Sake, right?" I asked and she nodded. "I got this expensive bottle of Sake i got as a gift in my office. Wanna open that?"
"Lets go" she said as she got up, stumbling. We both chuckled as we supported each other and walked to my office.
"I remember i kept it somewhere over here" i said as i bent down and started checking my desk drawers trying to find the bottle. "Found it." I yelled as I pulled the bottle out.
I opened the bottle as Nia got 2 glasses. I poured the sake into the glass and placed the bottle on my side table.
"To the second person I ever liked getting married and to you getting dumped," Nia said and clinked our glasses.
We downed the alcohol like a shot. "Fuck this is good." She said, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
"I didn't get a dump." I said, hitting her shoulder, "I was the one who dumped her." She was about to fall so I grabbed her shirt and pulled her so she didn't fall but instead I got trapped between her and my office table. Her face was an inch away from mine as she mumbled.
"You know about that thing you told me to be." She said as she glanced at my lips making me glance at hers.
"What thing?" I asked her when I realized her question.
"That being cold from outside but a soft from inside." This reminded me about the time I drunkenly mumbled her to be a Tsundere. "Hmm Tsundere. What about it?" She leaned in closer and whispered in my ear. "Would kissing a girl who just go dump fit that category?"
"I didn't-" She didn't let me complete my sentence as she crashed her lips onto mine. I was just getting into the kiss when she pulled back and asked "Is this ok?" She seemed too vulnerable. Like this was something she needed. Maybe I need it too but more of the fact that I felt something was wrong right now.
"What's wrong?" I asked as I ran my hand through her hair. This made her lean into the touch. "I want to forget. I want to be impulsive. Be passionate. Do things without having to face the repercussions. Without thinking about the fact the person I sleep or date might end up being the queen of Belgium with me. I don't want to put the weight of a crown on someone. I know it is heavy." She looked like she wanted the wheels in her to stop for once.
This was for sure not about the girl she liked getting married. I think she is using the fact as a shield right now so she doesn't have to think about the real reason.
"I can't be the queen of Belgium nor can I share the weight of a crown with you. All I can give you right now is sex. Impulsive, passionate, No strings attached sex. I always have no time for a relationship. I asked for a transfer to New York. Is that ok?" I asked and she nodded
