Chapter 14

Ryujin's POV

I sighed and sat in the car. "Don't look so grumpy. It's all your fault." Oppa said as I turned on the music. He was driving me to the press conference. It was the announcement of my tour. "I didn't know she was LeMarc" said whining.

"Well we are under contract so now we can't be seen in another hotel other than LeMarc or LeMarc associated." He said. I closed my eyes to avoid this conversation again.

I knew i have to talk to Danny but i just don't know how to. Maybe it is best if i distance myself from her. I anyways can't be seen with her anymore cause that will just fuel the fire.

It is safer for her.

I have already received 100s of death threats since the news came out. It's only been 2 days and I need time to calm down. Oppa parked the car in the parking lot. I saw my manager waiting for me with the black van I generally travel in. I was going to get out when Oppa stopped me

"just be safe if you talk to her. All eyes are on you and on top of it the number of death threats have skyrocketed more than they did last time a relationship rumours came out." He sighed. "Come on Oppa. You know these are all barks with now bites so just forget about it. So calm down." I said, squeezing his hand and smiling pretending I wasn't bothered by it.

He sighed and motioned me to go. "Ahh and you tell the host to specifically brief the press that i will not be taking  relation related question? I know they have been informed but just like before we start the event let them know once again." He nodded and I got out of the car.

"Morning unnie" i greeted her with a soft smile and she gave me a smile. "Let's get you ready." She them pulled out a bottle of my favourite bubble gum soda "here is a horrible tasting soda. Drink it and stop moping around." She said and I just gave her an amusing confused reaction.

"You have been giving me that weird puppy dog smile past 2 days. Makes me pity you. So just drink you sugar water and smile like your normal arrogant self and Call Miss pork delivery already." She said as it it. Was the simplest thing. I seriously hope to be as nonchalant as her some day.

If only my life was simpler.

If only I liking someone didn't literally put their life at risk.

God if only I had dated normal people in the past who didn't give me trust issues.

Danny's POV

I was holding onto Eun-Kyung's daughter So-ras hand as we stood in front of the ice cream cart. "Thank you" i said as Sora took the ice cream. I was holding on to her hand as the mall was crowded then I expected it to be. I told the other ice cream i had bought for Eun-Kyung.

"So you having fun at school?" I asked as we walked to where Eun-Kyung was. "It's good." She said. She was too focused on her ice cream.

Eun-Kyung looked at us with a smile on her face. I gave her the ice cream. "You like chocolate right?" She nodded in reply as she took the ice cream. We sat down on one of the benches. It was silent. Both of them truly were mother and daughter. They both were solely focused on their ice cream.

"Here have a bite." Eun-Kyung said so I pulled down my mask and ate from the spoon she offered. Once Sora was done she ran to one of the arcade games nearby.

"How's things with your friend?" She asked as she threw the trash.

"I don't know if we are even friends. She hasn't texted me hence the reason I took a holiday today. I didn't want to crash into her just for her to totally ignore me to my face." I sighed.

"Why don't you text her?"

"Cause she told me to give her time. I don't know how much time she needs but this just seems a bit too much." I said as I placed my head on her shoulder.
