Ryujin's POV

Once unnie stopped the car in the hospital basement. I ran to the elevator. Ignoring Unnie calling me.

"Jacket-" was the last thing I heard as the elevator doors closed.

Once I reached the floor I ran to the VVIP wing ignoring all the weird stares I was getting. When I reached near Danny's room no one was outside so I ended the room to see

Danny sitting up...

like her eyes were open and she was smiling looking at her mom next to her.

"I thought" I tried to catch my breath as I kneeled down.

"Ok maybe starting the sentence with Danny crashed was not a good idea." I heard Spencer say sheepishly. "But in my defence she hung up before I completed my sentence." She quickly added as I got up.

"How long was I out for? Is it already summer outside for you to roam around in your sports bra." Danny said, making me realise I was just walking with no shirt on.

This made me quickly close the door I just walked in through as my face turned red out of embarrassment.

"Shit you idiot" I looked down at myself to see I was not just not wearing a shirt, I had a mismatched pair of flip flops on.

One of them was a bit large and didn't really look like any pair I owned.

Huh?

A couple of seconds passed as the door opened just a tiny bit and just a hand came out holding a varsity jacket.

"Thank you" I said and quickly wore it. I took a deep breath and walked in the door again.

"Hi" I said, trying to pretend they didn't just see me shirtless a couple of minutes ago. "So you said she crashed" I said looking at Spencer with a straight face.

"Yeah what i was saying was She crashed they did that electric shock thing and now she's up." She said to which I nodded. "Hmmm ok." I didn't know what else I was supposed to say.

"I'll just wait outside" I said and got out of the room. I should probably give her family some privacy. I saw unnie was sitting on the couch outside.

I looked at her feet to see the same mismatched pair of flip-flops.

"She's up" I said and sat down next to her and gave her the flip flop which wasn't mine. She gave me back mine and looked at me confused.

I explained the whole thing and she just nodded. She gave me my phone and I thanked her.

A while had passed and I was on call with Oppa now as he was scolding me for my wardrobe choices.

"But-"

"No buts I get what happened but just don't God what am I going to do with you." He sighed and said he was hanging up.

"yes and once again I'm sorry" I said but I only heard a beep tone signaling me the call ended.

"Marcella" I heard someone call me. I turned around to see it was Spencer. Everyone was coming out. "She's asking for you." I nodded and put my phone in my jogger pocket.

When I entered the room one of the princesses was stepping out making me crash in her.

Nia...

"We have to stop meeting like this." She said with a smile on her face as she had her arms around my waist making sure I didn't fall.

God! She has a beautiful smile.

"Well at least this time I didn't slap you. So I guess we are making progress." I said with my charming smile trying to make sure I didn't make a fool of myself this time too. I seemed like a love struck idiot last time.

"I guess we are. I got to say that jacket looks better on you then it did on me." she said looking down at the jacket I was wearing.

"Oh it's yours. Thank you for it, I'll send it back to you later. I owe you one." I said with a genuine smile. That's when we heard a really bad fake cough. I looked around to see the other princess, her wife and Danny looking at us. To which I realized Nia's arm was still around my waist.

Making me quickly take a step away from her. I swear, whenever I look at Nia she puts me in a weird daze.

"Well here's my card." Nia said with a smirk on her face as she handed me her card. "Call me so I can cash in that favor you owe me." she said charmingly and then left.

Behind her Willow and Abigail went. As they gave me a smile, I saw them go out of sight with Abigail hitting the back of Nia's head.

I closed the door behind me and turned around to see Danny looking at me.

"What did the doctors say?" I asked her as I sat down on the chair I always sat at.

"They say I'm good. No loss of memory, All my motor functions are working and well I can talk too. So the surgery was a success. Can't you just take that jacket off?" she said, a bit pissed, making me look at her weirdly.

"No I can't. I'm only wearing a sports bra underneath this." I said I was confused because she was being pissed for no reason.

"It's not like I haven't seen you in less." She said annoyed. I didn't wanna argue with her so I just took off the jacket for now and placed it on my lap.

"Happy?" I asked her, rolling my eyes.

"Very and as I was saying. Doctors say I'm fine just need to make sure I don't do anything physical for the next 2 months and I shouldn't be standing on my feet for too long either." She said with a smile.

The smile I had been longing to see for soo long made me smile too.

"That's good." I said. Now not sure what I should be saying. I wasn't even sure where we stood right now. Before the incident of me figuring out she was a LeMarc we were just booty call.

"Look for what happened before..." She started making me look at her "I'm sorry. I should have told you I was a LeMarc before you signed the contract. But I promise I never approached you just for that contract." I put my hand on hers and stopped her.

"I know you didn't. Spencer explained everything to me everything." I said. One day while we both were here alone she started to tell me what exactly happened. How her moms had told that if he told her real identity to anyone they would disown her and how she got the challenge of getting to sign the contract so she can use her real name in order for no one to mess with Alfie. "I understand why you did what you did." I said with a smile.

"Thank you." She said with a smile as she kissed the back of my hand giving me a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. "Please let's go back to how things were." She said and I nodded. Maybe we could give it a try too?

"Maybe... Like what if..." I took a deep breath trying to control my nervousness. But as soon as I was about to say something there was a knock on the door. Making me let go of Danny's hand and quickly wear the jacket.

"Come in" Danny said once I was done wearing the jacket. The door opened to reveal it was Eun-kyung and So-ra.

"Unnie" Sora yelled out Running towards Danny but quickly stopping before she hugged Danny "Is it ok to hug you?" she asked in her cute voice, making all of us chuckle. Danny nodded, "Just not too hard." She said,

To which So-ra climbed a chair and slowly gave a hug to Danny making sure not to hurt Danny. Unnie and I both were smiling at the site. When our eyes met I gave her a slight bow and she returned it.

A few moments passed after which Danny looked at me. "Sorry Ryujin you were saying." 

"Oh did we interrupt something?" Eun-kyung unnie said a bit apologetically.

"No no you didn't. Let's talk about it later. I'll leave now. Rest up. Call me if you need anything." I said and squeezed her hand to which she smiled and nodded.

As I left the room I turned around to see Eun-Kyung unnie kissing the top of Danny's head as if it was the most normal thing.

Have I been missing something?

Was there something going on between them?

Were they more than friends?
