Chapter 30

Eun-Kyung's POV

I got out of the car as I then saw Danny take out 2 bouquets, one of the roses and a smaller one of lily's with a few other flowers.

"I thought you gave her the flowers already," I said I was a bit confused.

"The roses are for something else." She said as she grabbed my hand with her free hand but she was having a hard time holding both of the bouquets together. "Give me one." I said as i took the lily one from her.

"Not those who take this one" she said and gave me the rose one." We were walking in with 4 guards around us. 6 men in suits walked towards us. One of them had a huge ass smile on his face. He then looked at me and my hand that was intertwined with Danny and looked a bit confused.

"How's everything?" She asked as he let go of my hand and gave the rose bouquet to him. "That's for later on."

"Everything's good now that her side knows we have much better coordination." She nodded her head. "Let me take you to her." He said and Danny just hummed.

We walked into a large room that looked more like a banquet hall converted into a makeup/lounge area.

I saw Marcella was getting ready. She saw Danny and smiled then she saw me making her smile almost falter but she was quick to hide me. She signaled us '1 second.'

"Sorry it's show time so it's hectic here." She said and I just smiled. "It is understandable. How are you?" I asked her.

"I'm good unnie much better."

"This is for you." Danny said as she gave her the bouquet of lilies.

"You remember." She said with a smile this made Danny have a small smile on her face as she said "like always." I know Marcella should be the one feeling like she was intruding but I'm here feeling like that.

"Watch out." I heard someone scream but i didn't have time to react as Danny pushed me away. I stumbled and fell quite far from her. I looked up to see Danny lying on the ground in the opposite direction from me. Covering Marcella with herself as there were broken shards of glass on her back.

"SOMEONE FUCKING CALL THE DOCTORS." I heard Marcella yell. She was about to grab Danny to move her but Danny stopped her by saying "Don't touch me! There are pieces of broken glass on me." Danny was on top of her in a push up position. One move and the glass around her could have hurt either one of them.

I quickly took off my jacket and cleared as much glass i could from around them. I saw a few of their people helping me. Ms. Kang's son was also there.

"Raise your hands I'll pull you out." I said as I stood near their head.

She did as I asked and with the help of Jisung I pulled her out.

Once Marcella was out Danny stood up making all the pieces of glass on her back fall down.

"Let me check your back." I told about to take off Danny's jacket but she stopped me.

"I'm fine." She had that ice cold look that I had seen before. When she was in her office distracted looking out her window she had these looks. They were bone piercing looks that gave you the chill. "Everyone out." She said with a low growl.

"Danny?" I said a bit questioningly as i had never seen her like this.

"Everyone out right now." Marcella yelled out as she grabbed my hand. "We'll get the first aid kit. She needs to talk to her men." I looked at her confused but nodded. I looked at Danny one last time as she and her men were in there.

We left and stood outside. Marcellas people checked up on her as Jisung literally checked every inch of her body. Once done he sighed in relief.

"I told you I'm fine. Not even a scratch." She smiled.
