"You didn't have to come" Hope told Klaus who came out of the shadow "I wanted to make sure you were all right" Klaus said. "I don't know why we leave flowers. Doesn't do them any good. It's not much of an apology for kill someone. Unintentionally" Hope said. "You rid the city of those vermin" Klaus explained "yeah you did something good" Evie spoke "You have nothing to apologize for" Klaus finished. "Don't make it sound so noble. Yeah, yeah, I kill a few bad guys, but it was as much to get the magic out of me as anything else. Besides, it's not like it lasted more than a few hours. Well, at least he gets his revenge next week when the full moon comes" Hope said.

"Hope, however much you dread your first transformation, once you go through it, you're gonna feel better" Klaus reassures her "yeah it's the best feeling ever" Evie spoke. "I don't know if I dread it or if I wish that I could just turn and never turn back. Mom said that, after the pain, it's one of the bestfeelings in the world. Just can't believe I have to do this without her" Hope explained and Evie felt sad at the mention of Hayley "I know no one can replace your mom. But I do want to help" Klaus said. "I know, but I need to be alone" Hope told him and he sighs and says "as you wish" then vamps away. "Do you want me to leave?" Evie asked "no I need you with me" Hope said.

"Hey" a familiar voice said and they turned around and saw Davina "Oh. Hey, Davina" Hope said sniffles and Evie waved at her. "Hi. You okay?" Davina asked waving to Evie "No. And I'm pretty sure I just drowned the memorial. Oh, uh, I'm so sorry about Josh, by the way" Hope responded "Yeah me too" Evie said "Thank you. How's your head?" "Buzzing" Hope answered. "I can make you a tea that should help. And never underestimate the power of wedding champagne" Davina said and Evie nodded "Do you think they'd let me skip the wedding? It's just with... the way that I feel, I don't want to ruin the day." Hope said "absolutely not okay we are going to eat and drink to my hearts content. This is basically a break from everything and we have to take it" Evie said "You missing it would ruin the day. Look, I know that you have a lot going on right now, but, you know, one thing I learned as a girl with the world on her shoulders at is that you need to live in the moment. Josh taught me that" Davina said and it was at this time that Evie saw the lines on Hope's neck. She knew that Hope is dying and the first thought that comes to her mind is she can't do this anymore. "Hey I have to go somewhere but I'll be back for the wedding, see you then" She says to Hope and kisses her cheeks before vamping away.

She couldn't handle it. She couldn't handle Hope's death. She also couldn't handle the urge for blood. She was a liability and thinking of what would happen to her if Hope died. She has been writing a letter to Hope but she just couldn't put it into words. She loves Hope more than she has ever loved anyone and her death would crush her. She had to leave before it happened maybe it wouldn't hurt her has much she thought. "Hey can I have two of those?" Evie asked and then she payed. It took all of her will power not to such the person dry. She needed to leave.

"Rebekah. I spoke to Kol. Davina says that the dark magic is destroying Hope from the inside out. It's only a matter of time before it kills her" Klaus tells her "So how do we stop it?" Rebekah asks "There's nothing we can do" Klaus responds "How long?" Rebekah asks "Weeks. -gasps- days... maybe hours. -panting- There's no way to know" Klaus told her and they turn around to see Evie standing there. "Evie" Rebekah called "no it's fine it's good to know" Evie said before speeding off.

"Now, by the power vested in me by a Franciscan monk in the th century, and by the Internet a few hours ago just to be on the safe side, I now pronounce you married. You may both kiss the bride" Kol announced. "Tomar lento. Namaz amor" Hope chants as they kiss. "That's very romantic of you" Evie whispered in her ear "what took you so long you better not be late for our wedding" Hope joked "oh, our wedding what's it going to be like?" Evie asked "epic" Hope replied "Evelyn Mikaelson It's a great fit" Evie said "Mikaelson?" Hope asked "yeah well I never liked my last name and yours just feels right" Evie answered "does it" Hope said which Evie hummed and kissed her check. "I hope we stay like this forever" Hope said "Don't worry I'll never leave you" Evie lied "I know" Hope spoke and Evie felt guilty that she was going to leave.

It was the after party and Hope was dancing with Keelin while Evie was drinking a lot of champagne. "Shouldn't you slow down a little?" Elijah asked "the benefits of being a hybrid you don't get drunk" Evie said. "Still though you're still a child" Rebekah said and Evie hugged her. "So Elijah told us the news did you actually kiss Hope?" Rebekah asked "yes but she actually kissed me" Evie replied and Elijah and Kol groaned "yes you guys owe me fifty" Rebekah told them happy. "Wait did you bet on this?" Evie asked "yes and you totally cost me money" Kol said "I wasn't the one that told you to bet on me" Evie told him. "But wait that means you voted against me" Evie accused Rebekah "did I" Rebekah said.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa" Keelin said holding Hope and Everyone rushed to her "What happened?" Evie asked "Is she all right?" Klaus asked "I'm fine. I'm fine" Hope responded. "Yeah. My medical diagnosis is too much champagne" Keelin said. "Oh, yeah. Speaking of, I would like to make a toast. This has been the best day ever. And you know what? You guys got a thousand years of moments like this one. And being a part of this one really made me feel like I'm part of always and forever, too. So... cheers" Hope spoke "Cheers" Everyone said.

"Hey Keelin do you mind if I borrow your dance partner?" Evie asked while Keelin smiled and nodded. "I believe it's time for our dance" Evie said holding a hand towards Hope which she took. "I never took you be be a dancer" Hope said as Evie moved her hand to her waist moving then moving her away their hands still touching. "I am when it's to impress this cute girl I like" Evie said pulling Hope closer to her chest "well lucky for you the cute girl likes you too" Hope said leaning in "you look beautiful tonight" Evie whispered in Hope's ear then spined her before bringing them closer their forehead touching.

"You're beautiful too" Hope said gazing at her lips. Evie looked at Hope's lips finding them entrancing. She looked at Hope who was also staring at her lips before they made eye contact. No one existed it was just the two of them. "Can I?" Evie asked "yes" Hope said as she leaned in. Her lips met Evie's and it was magical. It was like last time but different. It was slow and soft. Hope moved her arm around Evie's neck pulling her closer while Evie's hand were on her waist moving up and down.

For a second Evie forgot about leaving. She could stay with Hope and never let go. They could see the world together it would just be them against the world. It would just be her and Hope like it's always been. "Hey get a room!" Kol yelled and the two girl broke apart "where's a white oak stake when you need one" Evie whispered and Hope chuckled "Hey I heard that!" Kol shouts and they all laughed. It then dawned on Evie that this is the last time that she would be with her family.

The party was over and Hope was asleep. She went into her room and put the letter on her desk "Goodbye love" she says as she kisses Hope's cheek. She then leaves "what you went going to say goodbye" Klaus said infront of the door. "I left a note" Evie responded "a note really" Rebekah spoke "yeah she's going to be devastated when she wakes up" Kol said "how did you even know?" Evie asked "your not very good at hiding things" Freya said. "I have to leave" Evie says "why?" Elijah asks "because I'm a ripper and I can't protect Hope if I am a liability to myself. Also according to you guys they may not even be a Hope to protect. I can't go through it first Hayley I don't know what I would do if it was Hope so I have to leave" Evie explained "well just know your always welcome back okay" Freya said and they all nodded. "It was awesome to be raised by your crazy family" Evie said before vamping away. All she could think about was Hope would she ever forgive her for this?
