It Will All Be Painfully Clear Soon Enough

Evelyn is currently standing behind Hope who is on the bench. The two girl haven't spoken since they met their aunt Freya. Really wished we could have spent more time. Hope has tried so many times but Evelyn ignores her, so she just stopped chasing after the brunette. Evelyn on the other hand is still angry she understands why Hope did it but that doesn't mean it doesn't still hurt. Evelyn also hated the fact that she didn't know that she didn't recognise that it was and Hope and especially the fact that she slept with Amari. She wishes she could go back and stop it from happening so she would be able to look into Hope's beautiful eyes and be happy she's back, but instead she is squash with guilt and regret. So the two girls just stayed their in complete silence.

When they were Hope was sitting on the bench gathering the courage to talk to Evelyn Lizzie and Josie came towards them "Reporting for portal duty! I brought backup" Lizzie said and neither the two brunette or urban-haired weren't happy about that. "So, this is nice, right? Together again" Lizzie chuckled as they were all on the bench except for Evelyn who was standing in front "It's great" Hope sarcastically said "It's awesome" Josie sarcastically said at the same time "Yeah just fantastic" Evelyn did a thumbs up "I mean, for the three of you not to be talking to each other just because someone's competing for the love of the same garden gnome I think we're more evolved than that as women" Lizzie commented and Evelyn rolled her eyes "Absolutely" Hope said "Without a doubt" Josie said immediately after Hope. "Good. Because, personally, I've never been better. My work paid off. My mind is sharp. All perceived mental breakdowns were a figment of my imagination fed by two manipulative vampires who will remain forever my enemies" Lizzie told them. 

"What's going on with Sebastian?" Hope asked "Headmaster Downton Abbey wants us to enroll him to keep him off the streets. But after deliberately letting me think that I was unwell, I will not let that happen" Lizzie explained "You should forgive MG" Josie blurts out "Never" Lizzie told her "He didn't want to hurt you" Josie said "Yeah all he was doing was trying to help" Evelyn defended him. "He hid things from me. Zero stars" Lizzie told them "He's not the only friend keeping secrets" Josie said "I didn't want to hurt you either" Hope defended herself and Evelyn scoffed "You know what they say, zero stars" Evelyn blurts out then saw Hope with the crystal which Josie also noticed "Is that what I think it is?" Josie asked "Yeah here. I don't need it anymore" Hope said handing it to Josie while glancing at Evelyn "Thanks" Josie said taking it  "Look at us. Clear hearts and minds. Letting the power of our intellect rule the day over our emotions. Moving forward with dignity and grace. This is the true definition of girl power" Lizzie said hugging Hope and Josie "I'm proud of us."

"Greetings, witches" A man said at the next bench causing them to turn and they stood up going to it "Who the hell are you?" Lizzie asked "An answer for an answer. There are two sisters. One gives birth to the other. And the other, in turn, gives birth to the first. Who are they?" He asked "They're?" Hope titled her head thinking "Night and day" Josie blurts out "The sisters are Night and Day" "Ah. Your reward for answering correctly is to know that you are in the presence of the master of the ancient lands" it said standing up "The all-holy, ever-divine sphinx" "You're fucking kidding me" Evelyn groaned while the others didn't look impressed "People are usually more impressed" the sphinx said "It's been a long semester" Hope said then chanted "Prohibere" making the creature free then they saw a woman jogging so Evelyn held on to Hope and so did Lizzie, Josie, and Hope "Invisique" They chanted and they turned invisible "See? Girl power" Lizzie said.

"Hey. So, good news. We caught another monster. It's a sphinx, in case you had that on your Malivore bracket. Which must mean that the zombie's probably roadkill by now, right? Unless Malivore is actually starting to send two monsters at a time, in which" Hope said as Alaric hugged her "Kay. Uh, good morning to you, too" "You told me your story. But now, with the memories, I'm just happy to have you back" Alaric told her "I wish everyone else felt the same" Hope said thinking about Evelyn. "You're just gonna have to give them time" Alaric told her "Actually planning on doing just that. I'm headed home to New Orleans to do research on how to close the portal with my aunt and her circle of witches" Hope said "I see. Now, this trip to New Orleans, is it round-trip or one-way?" Alaric asked  "To be honest with you, I don't know" Hope said also thinking about how angry Evelyn looked when she found out she told Alaric before her plus how angry she may look when she finds out. Though to Hope it doesn't look like she wants her around.
