What Cupid Problem?

Evelyn and Hope where interrogating Alyssa who was currently behind bars "Enough with the illusion spells, Alyssa. Tell me where the ascendant is" Hope told her but the annoying witch was doing yoga instead of listening "Can I ripe her throat out" Evelyn whispered to Hope who ignored her. Rude. "Why isn't my truth spell working?" Hope asked not taking to anyone in particular "Hmm, I guess that anti-charm potion I took is working" Alyssa said "It is. Too bad you could use a little charm" Hope roasted her "Stay on topic" Evelyn commented afraid it will end up between a roasting war with those two. "Enough with the games, Alyssa. Help me bring the Saltzmans back" Hope ordered her "Why, so you can be the hero and save the day?" Alyssa asked not letting Hope answer as she continued on "This isn't about you, Hope. Though, if I knew how annoying you'd be, I would have sent you away, too" It was then that Evelyn glowed her eyes at Alyssa who then took a step back. No one and I mean No one threatens Hope when I'm around. "How's this? You tell me where the real ascendant is, and I won't pluck your eyelash extensions out one by one or I will just let Evie rip your throat out" Hope threatened her and although Alyssa looked faced at the last opinion she still stood her ground saying "Sorry, but I don't negotiate with basic witches. So, I'm never telling you where the ascendant is. Namaste" "I am so going to kill her" Evelyn let out a frustrating sound.

Evelyn and Hope heard a sound which Hope went to check to see a man with wings shoot an arrow at Landon which she quickly stopped "Who the hell are you?" Hope asked "Really?" The cupid asked back. 

They were now in the gym as Hope was cleaning up bloody scissors as she just cut of the cupid wings. Both Landon and Evelyn shared the same expression 'not to make Hope angry' "You monsters" The cupid told her "You have no idea how long it took me to grow those" "Well, next time it'll be something that won't grow back, unless you tell us why you're here. Do you serve Malivore? Or someone else?" Hope asked which Evelyn laughed at causing then to look at her "Really, who do you serve... did you not watch infinity war like I told you to?!" Evelyn accused Hope "I will when we have time but for now answer the question" Hope ordered the cupid. "I serve the highest power of all love" the love servant answered "Okay doesn't explain why you were to take my brother?" Evelyn asked "That guy's your brother?" He said confused and with a hint of pity "Uh, I wasn't trying to take him anywhere. He started it" "Of course he did you're lucky my girlfriend was there to help you" Evelyn told him "She's your girlfriend" the cupid said amused.

"Also, he he was flying around, sh**ting people Yeah, with love arrows they're harmless!" Landon defended himself "Check the quiver every arrow in there only helps people express the love they already feel inside. Most people say thank you" the cupid told them "Why didn't you come get me or Evie?" Hope asked "Yeah that was a pretty stupid move" Evelyn told him "Oh, I-I-I knew you guys were busy with Alyssa. I was just trying to help" Landon answered. "A hero the likes of which I haven't seen since Hercules" the cupid commented "Would you just stay out of it, please?" Landon told the monster "Love to, thanks" it said leaving but a barrier stop him from doing so "You're not going anywhere. That's a barrier spell. Think of it like a force field" Hope told him "Your girlfriend's kind of impressive" the cupid said to Evelyn who smiled  "I know." 

"You're lucky that we found you when we did. Wade said that you were outside, trying to fly?" Hope asked still not believing it "Yeah. It seemed more reasonable than it sounds coming out of your mouth" Landon stated "It sounds crazy from anyone's mouth" Evelyn told him a little mad at him "And stupid" "Look, we know that you wanted to help. But if you keep trying to be the hero, one day there will be no coming back. And I don't want to imagine what they will be like for the people who care about you or think about that day at all" Hope told him. "What does this say?" Hope asked bringing out an arrow clearly down with that conversation  "Uh, 'puppy love' well, that's the modern translation. In Greek it's more like.." the cupid was interrupted "Don't care. What about this one?" Hope asked bringing out another arrow "'Self love' I call it the Narcissus" he answered "Still want to help?" Hope asked Landon. "Absolutely" he said like an excited puppy "Okay, think you can handle the Cupid problem?" Hope asked "Hey, hey. What Cupid problem?" the cupid said quite offended "Exactly. Just watch him till I get back, okay?" Hope told Landon then turned to said cupid and asked "And if you want to prove that you mean us no harm what's the strongest one of those you've got, to melt the coldest, bitchiest heart?"
