Just Don't Be a Stranger, Okay?

Today was the funeral of Ethan and this day just reminded me how lucky I am to have Hope. I keep on remembering how he risked his life to save Lizzie and it was honestly sad that Landon couldn't give him the chance he gave MG and the others, though because of him Lizzie was safe and they were able to defeat Ken. He may not be here and I may not know him very much but he was a hero and heroes deserve to be celebrated. 

It was a pretty big shock to everyone when Alaric said that the school was going to close. I could see the look on Hope's face and she didn't agree on bit. I mean I understand her this place was our home. Everywhere made us feel like outcast and monsters, but here they were outcast and monsters too that we didn't feel alone. For him just to close it down like that actually made me angry. We have memories and story he can't take that away from us, right? 

"Are you out of your mind?" Hope asked Alaric "Yeah I have to agree with that" Evelyn said  "You can't just make this decision without consulting anyone" Hope told him "And what makes you think I haven't?" Alaric asked. "Well, you didn't consult me. If you did, I would have told you that we need this place. I need this place" Hope stated "We all do" Evelyn said "Hope Mikaelson, if there is one person I am confident will find a new path, it is you" Alaric told her. "I don't want a new path. I just got back on this path" Hope stated "This path leads to dead kids" Alaric argued "Take it from a former bourbon drinker just because something feels good doesn't make it right. Saying goodbye to this school will hurt. But each day, it will get better. If we keep doing what we have been, the pain will only get worse" "Maybe we don't need to close. Maybe we just need a headmaster who can handle the pressure" Hope told him leaving. "You know she may not be wrong about that kinda if you could do a co-parent thing" Evelyn said then went to get Hope.

I wanted to get Hope's mind of things so I decided we both think of where we should rest Mr. Klaus. When we couldn't decided I suggest we talk to him using Landon, which ended up being a lost cause. Thanks to the people my little brother rose from the dead he has now lost the ability to feel. Kinda like losing his humanity but he knows those feelings are there he just doesn't feel them. Just like he knows he loves me but he can't fell it everything is dull to him, so when I asked him for this favour it may lose himself. I then thought of another way to give Hope the closure she needs and when she's not paying attention I tell Landon the plan , hugging him one last time before the revel.

Hope tried to hide it but I knew she has been struggling with how she fits into this world. With no tribrid to guide her no one understands how if feels to be one of your kind. I think that's why she wants to see her dad not because of his resting place but to also get some comfort that he's okay and that she'll be okay. So it was up to me to make sure that I make her okay until the other part of my plan does.

Hope finally found a place to spread her father's ashes and Evelyn was right beside her. "This place is special to me" "It's where I come to think. Cry when I need to. Make out with my girlfriend, well actually finance. It Evie, so don't worry. You'll miss it cause your dead. I just don't know if you'd think this place is special, too. I'm just trying to make the right decision, Dad. But if I scatter you here and the school shuts down, then we're just gonna be ripped apart again, so I don't know. You could give me a sign or something" "Sorry to interrupt. Evelyn I got it" Landon told her "What's he talking about?" Hope asked "Just follow me" Evelyn said holding Hope's had as Landon let the way. "Finance?" Landon asked "Tell you later" Evelyn told him. 

 "You're making me nervous. What's with all the suspense?" Hope asked as they led her to a movie scram "First things first. Evelyn had an idea that your dad found Peace, and she was right. Which is great but as the same night not because I can'r bring him to you" Landon stated "I thought that if that was the case my freaking brother is Ferryman and he can do something very special" Evelyn told her sitting her down. "We're not watching the harry potter movies?" Hope asked judging her "Just stop the judgement and look at the screen" Evelyn said and Hope did so. The screen turned up and memories of Hope and her father played. Hope hugged Evelyn tight watching it and then Ethan came up.

"Hey, Hope. Greetings from Peace. Evelyn I think this is what you planned, so I hope this works. And thank you Landon. You were right. It's... it's incredible here" Ethan said disappearing. "What the hell? Bring it back" Hope told them "Just keep watching" Evelyn told her. "My dearest Hope. My littlest wolf. My miracle child. What a gift to be able to leave you one last message" Klaus said now on the scream "So please carry it with you in the years to come. I want you to know this. You will make mistakes in your life. That comes with being a Mikaelson. You will go through hard times. For no one with your power always knows how to use it properly. You will find love... and you will lose it. For such is the burden of immortality. Though I am so happy you have Evelyn so cherish that. But the most important thing about your life is that you live it. Because you are my Peace. And I regret a lot of things, but I don't regret a single moment I spent with you. I love you so much. Always and forever"  Hope wiped of her tears and hugged Evelyn saying thank you. She couldn't believe how lucky she was to have a finance like her.

When there was another assemble it was Alaric telling us the school would be open. I guess Hope really did it. Though when he said that he wasn't going to be the headmaster that left everyone shocked. I wasn't has surprised cause I figured it would happen I just thought of it as him taking lesser responsibilities, but that was not the case. He was actually leaving and Caroline will be in charge, though I didn't have any problems with that. With the way the twins talk about her she's kinda like a hero. She went from not believing in herself to having so much confidence in her life, what's not to look up to. 

Hope and Evelyn caught Alaric trying to sneak out. "I thought you were leaving tomorrow" Hope said "Sneaking off while everyone is asleep" Evelyn stated "I've had enough goodbyes in my life. If anyone knows what that's like, it's you" Alaric said. "Are you gonna be okay?" Hope asked him "Are you both?" He asked back "Of course" Evelyn answered "Yeah, I think so. For the first time in a long time" Hope said. "Good. Then this school wasn't... Wasn't such a failure after all" Alaric said and Hope and Evelyn hug him "Goodbye old man" Evelyn said her and Hope broke the hug "Thank you... for being the, um, second-best father a girl could have" Hope said wiping a tear. "Well, thank you... for being the third-best daughter" Alaric told her and turned to Evelyn "Take care of her and yourself" "Don't forget the wedding" Evelyn told him as he entered his car and drove off. Evelyn gave Hope a hug as they watched him leave.

Hope decided to spreed his ashes at the deck's lake. It was a place that brought good memories for her and she wanted his ashes to go free in the lake. They were now at the front of the school behind the door as they heard new students outside.

When we're young, we're taught the distinction between a hero and a villain... good and evil. A savior and a lost cause. But I've learned the only real difference is just who's telling the story. My name is Hope Mikaelson. I come from a long line of villains. At least, I used to think so, but I don't anymore. The school behind these gates once protected the secrets of people like me. Now, we'll use those secrets to protect others. Because we're heroes. And today we'll be opening our doors to the next class of supernatural being to teach them to be heroes, too"   

"All right, everyone first impressions last a lifetime. So with the gentle reminder that many of you are immortal, Hope... would you do the honors?" Caroline asked and Hope smile. Hope grabbed Evelyn's hand and opened the doors to the school together. "Welcome home" Hope said smiling and the couple look at each other knowing that no matter what the world throws at them they will defeat it cause they have each other.
