Since When Do You Speak Japanese?

Evelyn, Landon, and Rafael were currently walking towards the mystic falls Highschool. "You sure we should be doing this?" Rafael asked skeptical as then made their way to the school "If Dr. Saltzman thinks he can ignore my calls like we don't live in the same town, he's got another think coming. Namely monsters, because if they're back and after me now, I must've done something to screw up the night the Malivore pit went dry" Landon complained though Rafael was barely paying attention and Evelyn was mostly thinking about Hope "And if I can't remember any of it, we need his help to figure out what changed and how to fix it, or we're all in danger. Are you both listening?"He asked then snapping them back to reality.

"Yeah, I'm always listening" Rafael said "Yup something about how Alaric is a douche" Evelyn guessed "Well, do you speak anymore?" Landon asked Rafael and Evelyn gave him a 'are you serious look' though the phoenix ignored it and continued "I mean, ever since you got back to school, your sentences have averaged three words each" "That's not true" Rafael shot back looking at Evelyn for back "I mean" Evelyn said "That's three words" Landon finished Evelyn sentence. Though even then Rafael wasn't fully paying attention "Hey, man, watch what you Look, I know you say you're fine, but you were stuck - as a wolf for a pretty long time" Landon stated "his not wrong that could cause some damage" Evelyn said  "Yeah, and I'm back now. So it's all good" Rafael insured them "Thanks to Hope" Both Landon and Evelyn said. Landon pat Rafael shoulder going inside as they went inside as Evelyn couldn't help but smile when she heard Rafael say "Yeah, she was pretty incredible" She really is amazing. 

Rafael and Evelyn were looking to the classroom to find a certain girl. "So that is why you both came with me" Landon said "What?" They both asked "You guys just want to see Hope again?" Landon asked but it was more like a statement "No" Rafael said then looked at Evelyn "Why you looking at me I have Amari" she said put even her didn't believe those words."I, um, want to stop these monsters from getting to you. And if we see Hope, I mean, that's-that's cool, too. Yeah, it would be cool, too" Rafael said "Yup totally agree except for the Hope part I don't care if I see her" Who am I trying to convince them or me. The bell then rang and a bunch of students crowded the place bumping into them and Rafael didn't like that "Hey, are you okay?" Landon asked "You look pale" Evelyn commented concern writing all over her face. Rafael took of and ran leaving the two of them calling out for him. 

They followed Rafael seeing he bumped into someone "Watch yourself, bro" the boy irritatedly said walking away "Go fail chemistry" Landon said which made Evelyn snicker "Hey. I shouldn't have asked you to come with me. We can go" Landon told him but Evelyn sensed that there was something wrong him "Landon" Evelyn stated "Raf? Raf." Landon said stepping back as the were stated growling "Don't think that's Raf" Evelyn stated as he charged at them "Scalare" A voice chants and Rafael was behind bars "Hope" Landon said and Evelyn finally turned to see her. How can someone be so beautiful? "And she strikes again" Evelyn commented smiling. She couldn't help it for some reason seeing Hope just make her smile "How are you always in the right place at the right time?" Landon asked "That's funny. I was just thinking the exact opposite thing" Hope said directly looking at Evelyn who couldn't help but blush.

"Ad somnum" Hope chants putting Rafael to sleep again "What were you three even doing here?" Hope asked the question mostly directed at Evelyn but Landon spoke before Evelyn got the chance "Looking for answers And, I guess you" Landon said "We were really hoping to find you" Evelyn blurts out then awkwardly chuckles.Did I really say that. The two girls have on of their moments when they seem to not be able to look anywhere except for each other's eyes "Dad?" A voice called bringing the girls to reality Josie what the hell's going on?" Alaric asked as the old man beside her looked at Landon saying something in Japanese "He said, 'We came to protect the bonsai-headed boy' I think" Josie translated then looked at Hope mounting something in Japanese and from her tone Evelyn sensed it wasn't positive "That's Japanese for, 'What the hell is she doing here?'" Josie said and for unknown reason Evelyn went in-front of Hope in a protective stance glaring at Josie. "Why does you look at her that way?" Josie mumbles seeing the way Evelyn looks at Hope she couldn't help but feel bad for Amari and a little jealous knowing Landon doesn't look at her that way.
