Evelyn and MG with up with each other. Evelyn rushed in to see Alaric once she heard the news but from what she heard it was bad. They came in to Lizzie spiralling "MG, Evelyn what did your vamp ears hear?" Lizzie asked them "Dr. Saltzman is out of surgery. He's stable" MG told her "Thank God. Okay, when can we see him?" Josie asked "More importantly, when can you see him?" Lizzie asked both of them. "Well I don't think any of house can fix this" Evelyn stated and they looked confused when the person Evelyn hated came in. "We just heard what happened" Cleo said  "How's Doc doing? Where's Hope?" Kaleb asked and Evelyn vamp speed pining him down by the neck and punching him repeatedly. MG pulled her off him making her scoff "Evie" Josie warned "Whatever" she said sitting back down "It's fine I deserve that" Kaleb said standing up with the help of Cleo "You deserve more you fucking hypocrite" Evelyn stated.

"I got through to Finch. Hope's not at the school and..." Kaleb stated looking at their faces "And, obviously, I missed something big while I was gone" "Just a magic mirror call with Professor Vardemus, who told us what I was afraid of" Josie stated "Doc's in a coma" MG said "Our blood can't heal him" Evelyn voiced out "It turns out the human brain doesn't heal so easy. It's the same way with certain diseases" MG said. "The doctors finally came by, too. And they said that we won't know what we're dealing with until Dad wakes up" Josie spoke "If" Lizzie blurt out "Perhaps there is a way to wake Dr. Saltzman and learn what happened to him" Cleo suggested "What may that be?" Evelyn asked "Another vampire power. The same one you used to reach me when I was trapped in Malivore's mind" Cleo answered "A head dive. She's right. If I can get you two in there and you can find Doc, then..." Kaleb stated "Then we might be able to bring him back with us" Josie finished the sentence "Great plan but hypocrite here isn't doing it" Evelyn said. "Evelyn's right  for all we know, a monster could have attacked Dad, so sorry, Kaleb, but I'm not willing to trust someone who sold us out to Malivore" Lizzie told him "Guess that means it's up to you guys" "Gladly" Evelyn said as they left. 

We were at his deathbed and MG and Evelyn did the head dive with Josie and Lizzie to see what happened that night. There they saw Hope and Alaric and Evelyn just knew what happened "It's too late" Hope told him "My humanity switch flipped the second that stake went through Evelyn. But I got to say, it really seems to be working for me. I got so sick of being controlled by my emotions. It's like: love, lose, grieve, repeat. I am finally free. So don't try to talk me out of it. I'm not coming back" "Then why did you bring me here?" Alaric asked her "To send a message. Make sure that my, um, little friends stay away, too. Well, I don't think they'll listen. I'll make it loud and clear" Hope said showing her vampire side then throws Alaric beating him up. "Hope, this isn't you" Alaric said on the floor Hope punched him"Oh, it is" she told him punching him again and again "I know you've been trying to stop this from happening since I was a little girl, but, uh... you were only holding me back" she chuckled "Cause I finally realised... I am my father's daughter" she said breaking his spine "And I'm cool with that" she walked away "Damn it Hope" Evelyn said coming out of the head dive.

When Evelyn got home she received a call from someone she didn't expect "Hello aunty bex" "Hello love you're supposed to be dead" Rebekah told her "Was coming her to say my regards" "Ah I see you talked to Hope. How is she?" Evelyn asked. "She's complicated for someone who has lost her humanity" Rebekah answered "That doesn't explain the fact that she told me my favourite niece in law just died hence why she turned it off" "Yeah I asked aunt Freya with that" Evelyn stated. "She needs you" Rebekah told her "See almost killed her headmaster and told us to leave her alone" Evelyn repeated what Hope had said "Yeah because she things you're dead. She's very fragile okay I couldn't get through to her but I hope you can" Rebekah said "The Hope that we love isn't gone" "I really hope so aunty bex" Evelyn said hanging up.
