They were hiding from Hope as she was eating food "You're a long way from home" Hope told them turning to Evelyn and Cleo "Not really an easy person to find" Evelyn stated "We came to talk" Cleo told her "So now are the other people getting into position around me gonna join the conversation?" Hope asked "You can come out now" "Told you she won't by it" Evelyn stated. "This looks like the worst album cover of all time" Hope stated "Rude" Evelyn mumbled "I'm gonna give you all the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't get my message. Maybe it was too subtle" Hope stated "As angry as I am about what you did to my dad, we're here to help" Josie told her "Well, that's noble. But hours in a van, that was the best you can come up with? Bringing the traitor along wasn't a good idea, either" Hope stated looking at Kaleb who looked like he was about to pounce. "Don't let her get to you. She's just trying to provoke us" MG told him "She's not wrong though" Evelyn commented "You should have kept your stupid Squad out of my sight" Hope told them cracking her neck to the side showing her vampire teeth.
"Hope, listen to us. It doesn't have to happen this way" Cleo pleaded "No, it doesn't. But on the other hand, it kind of sounds like fun" Hope stated "Externa conatus" she blasted all of them then goes face to face with Kaleb blasting him "Corporis impetus" Hope stopped Cleo from moving and blasted Kaleb and Evelyn snapped Kaleb's neck "Behind you" Evelyn told Hope and it was Jed. Jed tried to punch her but she blocked it ripping his heart out of his chest then turned to Ethan and Cleo. Ethan turned himself invisible but Hope could hear him "You can run" Hope stated having a manhole cover in hand and when Ethan came up she used it to slice his head off "But you can't hide" "Ad somnum" Josie chanted from behind Hope who passed out just to be behind Josie "Just kidding" she spinned her into her arms then snapped her neck then turned to Cleo "This is about what I expected from them. But you? I expected more. You know there's a weapon that can kill me" Hope stated and Cleo glanced at Evelyn who just shrugged. Of course she knew that there was a loophole that's how nature works, but she doesn't know what it is that's why she needed Cleo to find it so she can stop it from ever hurting Hope.
Why haven't you told them about it yet?" Hope asked her before burning her on fire then turned to Evelyn "Like the show?" "Not really my taste" Evelyn stated "So are you going to kill me?" Hope threw her a wooden stick "Do it yourself" she said before walking away and that's exactly what Evelyn did. They woke up from the therapy box "Okay, so what's that? Hope , Squad zero?" Kaleb asked then turned to Evelyn "And can you stop killing me?!" "No can do" Evelyn stated and then the bell ring "We're gonna be late for class" MG told them ans they all left leaving Cleo, Josie, and Evelyn. "You okay?" Josie asked Cleo "Yes, thank you" Cleo answered "Cleo? What happened after we all died?" Josie asked her and Cleo glanced at Evelyn "The usual" she lied "Don't worry, we'll figure something out. There has to be a way" Josie reassured her.
"You're skipping class now?" Josie asked Lizzie storming into the office "I don't care that you're skipping class at least take a shower" Evelyn stated cursing out her super smell "We all grieve in different ways" Lizzie stated "Please stop talking like that. Dad's not dead" Josie told her "He's not exactly alive either" Lizzie pointed out. "Just feeling the positivity right now" Evelyn sarcastically said "Which is what you and I need to be focusing on" Lizzie told Josie ignoring Evelyn "We were supposed to meet up and go through spells hours ago. Where were you?" "Trying to figure out what to do about Hope" Josie answered "Our father is in a coma, and you're more concerned about the person who put him there? I mean I understand Evelyn but you" Lizzie said disappointed. "You saw the same memories that I did. Dad wouldn't want us to give up on Hope" Josie stated and Lizzie scoffed "And if anybody's powerful enough to heal him, it's her. Trust me, I'm mad at her, too, but... we can't do this alone" "Watch me. Or don't. Cause you'll be off doing whatever else. But I am putting Dad first, even if I have to do it alone" Lizzie told her "Kinda what Hope did for me" Evelyn pointed out "If you figure out a spell, I'll be there. I promise" Josie told her pushing Evelyn out with her.
"I didn't want to believe it. What Cleo said was right?" Josie asked coming into their room "I didn't think you had that in you Lizzie" Evelyn stated slightly impressed "You wanted a spell. I found one" Lizzie said "You can't go through with this" Josie told her "Why? Because it has nothing to do with helping Hope?"Lizzie asked "Because we're not murder" Josie stated. "People die in that hospital every day. We just need to find someone who's really sick. Dying a day early won't make a difference" Lizzie told her "Plus, we'll be saving a life, too" "Dad wouldn't want to come back this way, and you know that" Josie told her "I actually found this spell in his journal. I've read a few of them now. And there was a time in his life when there was no such thing as too far" Lizzie pointed out "Yeah and killing people like you was one of those things" Evelyn commented. "If you're not gonna listen to me, you should know the Squad is outside. There's no way you can get through all of them" Josie told her "No. But thanks to this Illusion Ring, you can" Lizzie said turning to Lizzie " I'll tell the gang Lizzie needs to rest for a bit. Ad somnum" Josie falls asleep "Are you going to stop me?" Lizzie asked "No because I know you won't do it" Evelyn told her covering Josie in a blanket "Though if I'm wrong then your father would be very disappointed in you" she then left.
Luckily everything was great Lizzie was back without killing anyone. Though deep down Evelyn was anything but great she was broken. Hope was her anchor and the bloodlust is driven her crazy. Anytime she felt an itch she went to Hope but there was no Hope now. Plus she needed to find out the one thing that can kill Hope and destroy it except for one. Evelyn knows the risk and she wants there to be one stake and she'll give it to someone she trust in-case Hope and her go rouge. First she needs to learn what Cleo knows and have her find it then she'll save Hope.
