Hope Is Not The Goal

"You know it's creepy that you keep on staring" Evelyn told Hope as she tried to hid if off as her reading, but Hope gave no response "the silent treatment are you really going to do that cause if I remember clearly you where the one that said it was fine to leave" Hope slammed her book shot "and you did!" Hope shouts then composes herself "besides I wasn't staring" She got up and headed for the door "Hope" Evelyn called "are we okay?" She knew they weren't and knew it was all her fault and the silence just gave her the answer "Dr. Saltzman is holding a meeting let's not be late" Hope dismissed the question closing the door.

Alaric and the officer were talking about a girl Dana that went missing. Evelyn saw this kid MG and Kaleb talking but she didn't eavesdrop not wanting to know unnecessary details plus she was told that eavesdropping is bad.

"Now, I'll need a few of you to volunteer to go to Mystic Falls High under the guise of an exchange program meant to improve relations between our schools, which, unfortunately, is
necessary, given recent events. Now, I give you permission to compel them, to gather materials form locator spells, because any information we can get will make all the difference" Alaric said and Lizzie stands up "well, I guess that I can set aside my differences with Dana for a day, because that is what heroes do" she says and Alaric sighs "so... I volunteer as tribute." "She battles one gargoyle, and suddenly, she's Mother Teresa" Hope whispered which made Evelyn laugh and she earned a glare for Hope, but acted innocent. "I'm in" Kaleb said standing up "I'm in, too" MG stood up right after him.

Evelyn so Hope come into the sweaty "how the hell do you still look hot?" She blurts out and both of their cheeks are the colour of a tomato "well you are Hope Mikaelson so I shouldn't be surprised" which only made Hope's cheeks redder and she turns away to hide it "I'm going to the highschool and you're going with me" She ordered "so is this your way of saying all is forgiving?" Evelyn asked and she received a blank expression from her "we will be leaving soon knowing Lizzie is is most likely to leave us as soon as she arrives" Hope told her and that made Evelyn smile get's wider and Hope rolled her eyes giving her a 'what?' expression "you enjoy my company" "get ready" Hope shuts the door "it's okay to admit it!" Evelyn shouted then registered what Hope said "totally forgot about the twins"

Lizzie was bouncing as they walked off the bus like a movie star, then Landon mistakenly bumped into her. "I was making an entrance, mophead" Lizzie told him annoyed with his presence "sorry. I just had a... a flashback to my freshman year here" Landon said and Lizzie scoffed rolling her eyes"girls are missing, so get your wedgie trauma in check or leave" Lizzie said.

"He's fine now. Let it go" Hope told her "yeah give him a break or you might just break him" Evelyn added and Lizzie gave her a hateful glare "well if it isn't the traitor, okay, here's the deal. Landon, you talk to any of the people you still know from when you went here. Hope, you try to not deliberately alienate the entire student body while the rest of us save the world and Evelyn try not to run away we all know your good at that" Lizzie told them. "Damn" MG"this isn't a contest, Lizzie" Hope told her "you're right. It's a mission for a hero and her league of... whatevers" Lizzie said and Evelyn chuckled  "yeah.Screw that. I work alone" Kaleb announced leaving "MG, I need your compulsion skills. Would you like to be the Robin to my Batwoman?" Lizzie asked"actually, Batwoman doesn't have a Robin she..." MG was cut of by Lizzie "metaphor, nerd. Let's go" and she drags him away "well I guess that leaves the two of us" Evelyn said as Hope towards the school "well this isn't awkward" Landon said "at least she likes me rumor has it that she hates you heard she hated liers " Evelyn told him "why thank you for that" Landon chuckled "you're welcome" Evelyn grabbed his hand "now let's go find her before she gets far" 

"This is the senior hallway, where I spent much of my formative years stuffed in every locker... except this one" Landon slammed the locker "that one doesn't open. On your left, you'll find the bathroom. It's where I had my first kiss with a toilet" "damn that's depressing" Evelyn said "I'm sorry. Is the fact that I'm not openly hostile to you make it seem like we're back to being friends?" Hope told him "I do" Evelyn cheerfully said but received a cold glare from Hope "or not" she sends a sympathetic look to Landon. "Uh, sorry. Just, I was going for effortlessly natural. But this is all just making me really nervous.Like, the school and seeing Connor and being with you..." Landon said which made Evelyn cringe "shouldn't you be talking to anyone you know?" Hope asked trying to push him away "you don't have to be so rude" Evelyn whispered to her but was ignored "that's easier said than done. There is no way Dana's clique is talking to me unless you have a spell that will make me retroactively cool" Landon told her "well, I'll talk to them, then" Hope said which made Evelyn chuckle "coming from the person with zero social skill" "can you shut up" Hope said offended "it's even worse for you. Trust me. You have no idea how human high schools work. You're the new girl. Might as well be radioactive" Landon told her.
