Click, Click, Click.

Addison's heels echoed down the hall as she walked alongside Six, her arm linked with his. Donald had told them to appear as a loving couple when they walked into his office, their performance needed to be believable. "You clean up well," Court smiled, looking down at Addison with a glimmer in his eyes, one she had never seen before, "not so bad yourself." She replied, resting her head on his shoulder while they walked. Neither of them had dared crossed the territory they were quickly submerged in, flirty giggles and breath taking smiles were all they dabbled in, friendship was too valuable in their world. "Careful, keep looking at me like that, and I'll think you actually find me attractive." Addison chuckled, seeing Court shake his head, pulling his arm from hers and tucking her into his side, her arm slipping around his waist. It was easy, far too easy, to put on this façade. "Well what can I say, you're not hard on the eyes."

The door swung open before she could reply, a frantic Donald pulling the agents into his office.

"I have a niece," Donald spit out quickly, both Addison and Court sinking into the soft fabric of the couch, inquisitive eyebrows being sent towards the older man, "she's in Hong Kong, people have found who I am, there's a hit." Donald was dumping information on Court and Addison quickly, both of them trying to digest what was being said. "Why don't you take her with you?" Court questioned, his arm stretched across the back of the couch, Addison leaning against his shoulder while Donald paced in front of them. "Because the hit is on me! Not on the house."

"You two are on babysitting duty," a voice brought them over to a woman sitting behind a desk, "get out and on with it."

Four hours later, they walked hand in hand up the stairs of the house.

"Who are you?" A young girl, no older than eight came running out, an older woman right behind her, cheeks flushed. "I'm Addison, and this is Six." Addison's voice was soft as she kneeled in front of the young girl, smiling at her. "Six is a silly name," the girl laughed, looking up at Six who smiled down at her, shrugging, "Yeah I suppose, my real name is weirder though." He tugged Addison back up to her feet by her hand, slipping his fingers from her grasps, only to place a protective hand on her lower back, catching her eye as he nodded. "I'm Claire," the girl took Addison's hand, tugging her towards the backyard. "Go butterfly, I'm going to check the perimeter." Courts lips pressed into the side of her head, a smile being her answer before she let Claire drag her through the side gate.

The afternoon was filled with laughter, Court watching from afar as Addison and Claire bonded over music, arts, and ice cream.

The sun had set over the horizon.

Addison was lounging on the couch as Court talked to the caretaker in the kitchen. Donald had failed to tell them of a heart condition that Claire had, so the woman was explaining it to Court, he was always better with remembering details like that. "Have a good night." Court's voice carried over the room before the subtle click of the garage door echoed around the room. Claire had long been asleep, leaving the pair to finally be in silence. "Why do you think Don had us act as a couple?" It was a question Addison had on her mind since they got the assignment, sighing in contentment when Court sat beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and allowing her head on his chest. "I think he was trying to make a point that Claire was to be protected by parents as well."
