The sun had long been replaced by the moon.
Lloyd sat in his chair, a crystal Decatur that once was full of whiskey sat beside him nearly empty. Lukas and Walter sat at their desks, constantly switching the screens to monitor the CCTV cameras in six different countries, although they were all seemingly coming up empty handed. The clock read twelve am, another day wasted where Six was able to slip away. The tension was evident on Lloyd, his shoulders sat rigid, fingers angrily drumming against the glass he held against his knee, the sound his ring made bouncing around the room with each tap. He had heard Addison's team disband hours earlier, laughs echoing around the house as she told each of them what a great job they had done today.
He wished he could be mad at the way she fell so effortlessly into whichever role she was presented with, but truly he was just happy to have her back in the house. His world froze over the day he told her the relationship was fake. He lied to her, lied to himself, and it ruined his life. But hearing her laughs fill the open air, how his staff all flocked to her when she was in the room, it was calming, because she was here. There was no more wishing, she was in his bed, the bed he so desperately craved to be in at the moment, but his mission was important, so he sat placed in his chair, burning his eyes as he looked at the screens.
He didn't even notice Addison slip into the office, quietly waving at Lukas and Walter.
"Lloyd," Addison's soft voice brought his attention over to her, his heart pausing as his eyes trailed her body. One of his polo's rested against her body, shapely legs stopping in front of him. He instinctively parted his legs, the glass being placed on the table before his hands curved around the back of her thighs, tugging her closer to him. Lloyd rested his forehead against her stomach, letting out an exhausted breath when her hands rested on his shoulders. "Come to bed," her voice was so quiet that if he wasn't listening he would have missed it. He wanted to throw everything away right there, shut down the operation for the night, to go and bury himself in the bed with her and lock the pair in their own world.
"Sunshine," an exasperated sigh left his lips, hands sliding under the shirt gripping the flesh of her ass, pulling her tighter against him, "I have to find him," his nose nuzzled her pelvic bone over the shirt, eyes falling shut once more when she moved her hands to curl around the back of his neck, keeping him locked against her body. "Lloyd, if you find him tonight, or tomorrow it doesn't matter," Addison whispered, trailing a hand around the cup his cheek, his chin digging into the skin of her lower belly, smiling down at him, "if you want me like everyone is telling me, please, put me first for once. Come lay with me, I want to fall asleep with you there."
Lloyd should've cursed, should have told her to go to bed and he'll be up later.
Instead, he rose to his feet, lifting her up as he did, her legs locking around his hips while she smiled at him. The blue light glowed from the screens, illuminating her in his arms, hair cascading down and around her shoulders, pink lips parted in her signature smile, eyes locking with his. His gaze never left Addison, leaning forward to press a kiss to her lips before heading towards the door, "I'll come to bed with you sunshine, but I want you out of this polo by the time I get up the stairs, I'm going to lock up." Lloyd spoke a promise, slowly lowering her body down until her feet touched the cold floor, "leave it on the the door handle outside so I know you've listened," His whisper was low, keeping some intimacy between them before she nodded, leaning up to press a kiss to his lips. "Go,"
Lloyd smiled when she scurried up the stairs, taking two at a time to reach the destination of his bedroom.
"Lukas, Walter, you two have done plenty tonight," Lloyd smirked to himself seeing his two intel workers jump at the acknowledgement of their names, "but my sunshine is right, we need to take a break, tomorrow we start the hunt again, have a good night make sure the lock the office up when you leave." With that statement, Lloyd was exiting the study, double checking doors and windows before he was walking up the stairs. The black lace panties sitting in the hallway made him chuckle, leaning down to pick them up, slipping them into his pocket before stopping outside his door. The polo hung from the door frame, his smile slipping over his lips before he pushed open the white wood, outright moaning at the scene in front of him.
