The wind rustled the trees while time seemed to still.

Two stared at Addison with a hatred she didn't comprehend, she always favored working with Six but she was never against taking missions to help the other members of the program. Nick's gun was drawn, his hand on Addison's stomach to push her back towards the helicopter. "Drop your weapon," a command, Addison's own gun pointing down, the safety being turned back on and the cool barrel resting against her hot skin while she slipped the weapon back into the waistband of her jeans. Nick followed suit, although she knew he was questioning her reasons, he didn't put up a fight.

"Two, I don't know what Denny is telling you guys, but whatever it is, it isn't true."

"Really," his gun lowered, the Sierra program were trained killers, but they'd put up an equal fight, if Addison wasn't going to use her gun then neither was he, "because it looks like what he was saying was right, you're working with Lloyd to kill us all, starting with Six." Two's voice was full of venom, a deep wound opening up within Addison, it felt like her heart was being crushed by multiple different features, tears welling in her eyes before she blinked rapidly to push them away. She would not cry over these men anymore.

"Well did Denny tell you who hired Lloyd?"

Addison frantically shoved Nick away when Two shot between them, only to create space, he wasn't worried about Nick, Two could take both agents physically, but his eyes were set on Addison. Her hand slipped around the knife handle that rested on the interior of her thigh, blue eyes set on Two's emerald, his large body stalking towards her like a man on a mission. "Nick, get to the helicopter," Addison commanded, her eyes never leaving the man in front of her, "but-"

"For God's sake go!"

Addison immediately pulled the knife out of the sheath when Two reached her, his own knife in his hand. "I don't care who hired Lloyd," Two's actions were erratic, making it difficult for Addison to dodge his swings, knife missing her skin by millimeters each time, "I care that you're turning your back on us." Two gripped Addisons wrist when she went to land a stab on his shoulder, her eyes widening as his grip crushed her bones, yelping before she used her right foot, brining it up to kick him in the stomach, twisting around to use her free arm, elbow landing a devastating blow to his nose, his fingers unlatching from her wrist.

Red finger prints rested against her skin while she blinked to hold the tears back, leaning down to grab her knife, finally shoving the metal into his shoulder, a loud yell leaving his lips when he landed on the grass. Addison's uninjured hand cradled her broken wrist, knees hitting the damp grass while she rolled Two over gently, wincing at the blood gushing from his shoulder blade. "I wasn't here to kill you," Addison spoke gently, letting go of her wrist to run her fingers down Two's face slowly, his skin damp with sweat, dirty blonde hair sticking to his skin, "I'm not here to kill Six either, I just want to keep my family safe."

"Lloyd lied to you."

Addison laughed slightly, shaking her head before looking over at the helicopter, the Alpha team watching her actions. "Tell me something new, this is going to hurt," Addison's fingers wrapped around the knife's handle, pulling it out of his skin before using the bloody metal to slice through her shirt, wrapping it around the stab wound on his shoulder, tying it off tightly to slow the bleeding. "No, he's lying to you about the night you met," Two gripped Addison's chin with his blood fingers, tilting her face down so she would meet his gaze, "Six told me, he couldn't bare to tell you because you were so happy,"

Addison sat back on her heels, heart beating erratically in her chest.

"Lloyd's cruel, but he wouldn't of lied to me on the first night," Addison let out a breathless laugh, a sound so foreign she almost didn't recognize it, her eyes bouncing around the surrounding area, as if hoping that Lloyd would come out and say that he was wrong, that Two was lying to save his own ass. "Addison," Two's voice was full of authority, her eyes immediately dropping to his face again, his hand placing the bloody knife back in the sheath on her thigh, "there was no security detail that night, it was just you and Six, Six is capable of anything a security detail could do alone, why would Fitzroy need to add a security detail on top?"
