If heaven was a place, Court was currently living in it.

Addison was sleeping soundly, her body curled around Claires as to protect her from any harm that could come, his shirt resting on her body, swallowing her frame like it did all those years ago. His fingers traced the muscles of her thighs, curling around her hip as she shifted slightly, her ankle subconsciously wrapping around his to keep him close. "I'm here butterfly," he murmured into her neck, hand slipping to rest on her stomach between her and Claire, "relax." He pressed a kiss to the spot where her shoulder met her neck, feeling her sink further into the pillows.

Sometime during the night rain clouds rolled in, pelting the glass like little rocks. Claire had stirred momentarily before sinking back into Addisons embrace. The tug on Courts heart physically pained him in that moment, because sitting in that dingy motel bed, the one that creaks every time someone makes a minor move, sat what could be. His little family, he could give those two girls the world and make up for all the terrible things he had done.

The earpiece buzzed in his ear, his body tensing as he pressed the device, pressing one more kiss to Addisons shoulder before slipping into the bathroom. "Fitz," Court was curt, irritation flooding his veins. "Six, nice to hear from you, how is Agent Jones?"

The crackle of the motel light bounced around the room, a yellow glow landing on Addison's eyes, who had shifted slightly at the sound of his voice, "she's recovering, what do you need?" His eyes closed, fingers pressing to the bridge of his nose as he awaited the question he knew he was going to regret, he knew Fitz was with Lloyd, and as much as he wanted to give Addison the choice to pick who she wanted to be with, he wasn't ready to let go of their little bubble. He gave a start when two hands slipped around his waist, opening his eyes to see Addison leaning against his chest, her eyes half closed, still grasping on to the cloud of sleep. "Come back to bed."

"One moment butterfly," Court leaned down to press a kiss to her forehead, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

"We're in Prague, Lloyd's ready to give you a job if you bring Addison to the transport, you can stay in-"

Court ripped out the earpiece, dropping it on the floor before slamming his foot down on the device, memory boards snapping.

Addison looked up at him, her brow furrowed. "I'm not ready to give you back to him butterfly," she smiled gently, wrapping her hand around the back of his neck, lowering his lips to hers, both melting into the kiss. His hands found purchase on her hips, forehead pressing against hers when he pulled away slowly, "we can't go to Prague butterfly, but I know where we can go-"

"Mr. Six?" Claire sat up with a start when a light flashed into the room, her eyes flashing to the bathroom where Addison and Court stood, putting space between them when she rushed into the security of their arms, shaking. "I heard something, there's someone out there."

"Claire," Court ran his hand down the back of her head, his other hand tightening around Addison's hip, "kiddo get in the bathtub."

Claire wasted no time running over to tub, climbing in and hunkering down. "Stay in the room, I'm going to check the perimeter," Court tilted Addison's chin up with his forefinger, running his thumb against her jaw line, "keep our kiddo safe." Addison smiled at his words, pressing a kiss to his thumb when he ran it over her bottom lip. "Go, I've got this."

Court smiled, slipping into the dark room, setting a gun on the bed for Addison when she flicked the lights off in the bathroom, taking the gun off the mattress and pressing against the wall by the main door to the room. She could hear voices in the hall, soft grunts as the shouldered doors before stopping in front of her door. Counting to three, she timed when the mans shoulder would be hitting the door, watching as he barreled into the dark room.
