Warnings: mentions of guns, knives, blood

The team that was dispatched to Washington sat in the planes common area, chatting aimlessly.
Addison rested on Lloyd's lap, her fingers playing with the ring he wore on his right hand, his chin resting on top of her head while he spoke with Forrest. Lloyds hand shifted, turning his palm over and locking their fingers together before kissing her temple. "You're going to kick ass sunshine," Lloyd whispered against her skin, eyes fluttering shut while she relished in his comforting words, "get out of that pretty little head of yours, I love you, I'm right behind you."
Addison smiled, opening her eyes to look up at Lloyd, fingers squeezing his gently. Lloyd was always able to bring her confidence back up with just a few simple words, a few kisses to her head, and she was back to normal. Especially with the promise that Lloyd was going to follow her into the fire, she may have doubted him before, but now as he looked down at her like she was the most precious piece of his world, she had no doubt he loved her. Lloyd ran his free hand down the back of her head, pushing her ever so gently forward so his lips pressed against her forehead. "I love you too," Addison breathed out, moving so her thighs were on either side of his, wrapping arms around his neck and laying her head down on his shoulder.
"Mr. Hansen," The co-pilot stepped back into the common area when they touched down right on the outskirts of Washington D.C., the plane racing down the landing strip.
"What is it?" His hand stayed on the back of Addison's head, the other arm wrapping around her waist and shoving the gun further down her waistband before it rested back on her lower back.
"There's a man waiting on the runway, wants to speak to her."
Addison tensed as she pulled her head out of his neck, turning to look at the pilot, "what does he look like?"
"Dirty blonde hair, blue eyes apparently, the tower said that he had scars that ran up his hands."
Addison's eyes landed on Lloyd, both of them gripping the seat as the brake was hit and the plane was slowing to a stop. "Six." Addison whispered, while Lloyd nodded.
The plane came to a halt as they waited to taxi to the gate, "Open the door and let her down," Lloyd explaining, using Addison's non injured hand to help her up, "now."
"But sir the stairs," Forrest interjected, cowering when Lloyd shot him a poisonous look, "opening the door." Forrest nodded, walking over to the door and unsealing the metal from the plane body, air rushing in while Lloyd's employee's watching on shocked. The weather was cold, heavy clouds had settled over the sky as Addison stood in the doorframe, looking down at the distance between the plane and the ground. "You can do it sunshine," Lloyd whispered, his hand still in hers, "I'll be there as soon as we get the plane situated."
"You're not mad?"
"He's your best friend baby," Lloyd brought her hand up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to each knuckle, "go."
Addison smiled softly, sliding down the side of the plane and letting out a grunt when her feet landed on the pavement. When she straightened up she saw Court standing by the doors to the runway, and while there was a massive distance between them, she didn't care. Her feet pounded against the pavement as she ran across the fields and the other empty runways, Court's frame becoming larger, his arms opening when she was crossing the last field to him.
With a grunt, he caught her body when she threw herself at him, hoisting her up like he did the night he was arrested, her ankles locked on the small of his back, his arms squeezing her waist while her arms wrapped around his neck, burying her head with them. "You came," Addison breathed out, her eyes closing when he squeezed her tighter to him, his head buried into her hair, "you actually came."
