A New Start - Chapter 8

"Here..." I speak, handing a cup of coffee to Taehyung as he silently take it from my hand and place the cup on the table.

It was Sunday today. But he had work.

Taehyung plans on starting his own business soon, so he has to work extra hard.

But I try to help him as much as I can. I can at least boost his energy as I can't help much in his business work.

"Thank you." he mumble, as I understood his words.

I mean it isn't surprising, is it?

He is telling me to go and not disturb him now.

But--

"Taehyung." I call him.

"hm" He answer faintly as he kept his eyes fixed on the screen, making me roll my eyes at his rudeness.

"Minhye's birthday is soon, I want to go shopping." I speak.

"And?" he speak, not moving his eyes away from the laptop as I sigh due to his lack of attention.

"Well I knew you obviously would not come with me, so I just wanted your permission."

"Ok" He speak.

"Do you want to make something for you before I go" I ask him as he shake his head.

"I'll be fine." He speak.

"Ok then, I'll be going."

"Hm. Take care" he says as I nod before walking out of the room and quickly going inside our room to get ready.

I quickly put on my jeans and a blue sleeved shirt.

I like the color blue.

Taking my purse, I walked out of the house and slipped into taehyung's car.

He taught me how to drive when he got to know I couldn't drive.

Thank God he has patience even though I managed to make him mad at some point.

But he was very proud when I learned how to drive. He didn't show it a lot but I know better.

I park the car as I reach the mall.

After walking into different stores, I decided to get her a spa kit for women as Minhye loves taking care of herself.

What's better than that as a gift for her?

I walk into the Men's department after getting Minhye's gift.

I also want to buy something for Taehyung.

We have never really gifted anything to each other after he came back from U.S, maybe we didn't really know what we would like.

Even now I don't know if he will like my choice as both of us have changed in many ways.

"How may I help you, mam?" A salesman walk in front of me as he smile at me.

"I'm looking for something to give as a gift to my husband." I speak as he nod.

"What would you like to gift him, mam?"

"maybe a perfume?" I answer.

The guy showed me different kinds of perfume for men as he told me about them as well.

After sometime I decided to buy a perfume for him.

I liked the fragrance, I hope he will too.

I pay for everything and walk to the grocery store to get everything for dinner.
