Double Date - Chapter 64

"Yes okay finee" I said as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"You won't be upset? Promise?" He caressed my cheek.

"Yeah. When do we go?"

"Saturday evening. I'll pick you up, yeah?"

"Okay" I sigh and hug him slightly.

Mikyung & her date, Taehyung & I.
It's double date.

I sat in the car as he subtly smiled.

"You look beautiful" he spoke softly. He compliments me very often these days. I'm still nervous about the date though. But I'm glad at least she has her own date.

"Thanks, oppa"

The drive to the restaurant was not too long but it was quiet. Taehyung could probably sense my anxiety for how the evening might go.

I really want this to be good.

Sitting inside the restaurant, we waited for mikyung and her date at the booth that was last in the corner.

And to my greatest and fortunate luck, they arrived within 5 minutes!

I sigh as I watch her come forward with a guy behind her.

It'd be amusing the way I was trying to force a smile out except that it was not because i was the one doing it.

She smiled softly at me and Taehyung before she sat infront of us.

"Hey guys!" She spoke, "that's Jaemin, my boyfriend"

I smiled slightly, "You two look good together, mikyung ssi"

The evening went on with dinner and the conversation.  I could see Taehyung was protective of her which made me uneasy but I tried to calm myself down because the guys are protective of me too. So I guess it's only fair.

"I'm really sorry about last time, y/n" I heard her say to which I nod.

"That's okay...misunderstandings happen. I apologize I didn't let you explain either" I spoke as I felt Taehyung's hand on my knee and he was gently caressing me.

I was thankful he was at least appreciating my efforts here.

"Did I miss something?" Jaemin spoke up to which mikyung chuckle, making me internally roll my eyes but I stopped myself.

"Just some misunderstandings between y/n and me. But we're good."

"Ah, yes. We're good" I faked a smile.

I felt Taehyung's hand gripping mine as he put both of our hands on his lap. It was clear to them too that he was holding my hand which made me happy that he wasn't backing away from letting them see us like this.

The convo continued with the evening growing darker as we ate and drank a little. I was glad to be a little tipsy tonight as being around her was hard.

It was soon when we were finally going back home.

He smiled a little as he held my hand and guided me back to the car. The drinks were finally getting into my head as I was losing more of my senses.

"Oii" She called him as he scoff and shake his head in amusement.

"I told you not to drink so much y/n ah"

"I'm happy" She giggled making him smile as he started the car and started driving.
