**Eddie's POV**

I asked Angel if she wanted to come to band practice, but she said no, she was going to enjoy a soak in the tub tonight. I was a little sad, but I understand, she needed some alone time to relax. I finished loading up my gear in the van and went to Gareth's.

"Hey man, I'm so pumped we get to play again." he said as I unloaded my stuff and started setting up in the garage.

"Yeah, This is going to be great. I asked Angel if she wanted to come but she said nah."

"I'm kind of glad she didn't come." He said. I cocked a brow at him. "I wanted to talk to you about her."

"What do you mean? I thought you liked her, I thought you were friends?" I asked. I know he has a thing for her, but they're still close friends, He's one of the few people that she trusts, besides me.

"No, no , no , no. Nothing like that. We are friends. I'm just. I'm worried about her is all." He said as he helped me unload and hook up my amps.

"Why are you worried about her?" I asked.

"Are you not?" He asked flatly.

"Of course I am. She's my girlfriend."

"Then you must have noticed that she isn't eating lunch anymore, or that she lost a lot of weight in a week." He said, as if I hadn't noticed. "I know she was sick and all, but she's feeling better right? So she should be eating normally...Right?" he stood and spoke at me, not to, but at, as if I was blind.

"I know. Trust me I know. I've been trying to get her to eat. I think she's just scared."

"Of what?"

"I don't know, getting sick again. She was in a lot of pain man." The rest of the band showed up and we ended the conversation there as we all helped set up.

After a while we started tuning. I randomly started playing Angel's song. The guys all raised a brow and started adding to it. It was sounding really good.

"I like that, lets start again, from the top." I said as we started over. This time I started singing her lyrics. Usually we would play some heavier more metal music, but this was more of a metal ballad, and they really seemed to like it.

When we finished the song I grabbed a bottle of water and took a long drink.

"Where the hell did that come from?" Gareth asked, completely amazed.

"Angel wrote it." I said.

"Damn." Pete chimed in.

"Yeah, that's why I invited her to come today. I wanted you to hear her sing it."

"Wait, Angel wrote it? She plays, and sings?" Frank asked.

"I know, I had no idea either until I got home monday. She practially wrote it on her death bed. She told me to go in my room and I saw the music laying there. I sorta made her perform it for me." I rubbed the back of my head, realizing how horrible it must have sounded, making my sick girlfriend play me her song she wrote.

"I'd love to hear her sing." Gareth and Pete both said. I gave them a strange look.

"Hey, She's my princess, don't forget that." I said before we started playing our originals and a few covers.

We played for a few hours before it was getting too late. We all packed up and I went home.

When I got back,I started dragging my stuff back into my room, passing Angel's.

Her door was open, she looked like she was asleep. I quietly as possible brought in my amps and guitar. When I was done putting everything away I made my way into her room and sat next to her on her bed. She must have been sound asleep, she didn't make a sound or move an inch. I smiled as I pulled her blanket up over her and tucked her in, giving her a kiss on the forehead. I would leave her alone tonight.
