We received our class schedules in the mail. We both sat on the couch, me with my leg propped up in the table.

"Ready?"Eddie asked as we both prepared to rip them open.
"1...
2.....
3...."

We tore into the envelopes, pulling our class schedules out, looking them over before looking at the others. To our surprise, we were in the same exact classes again.

We don't know why, if it had to do with last year, or if we're on the same level academically. It really doesn't matter, we'll be together again for the entire year. I squealed happily. Yes, we're still mourning Becky. It's only been 3 days since her funeral, but this was a happy surprise.

I hobbled into the kitchen to grab something to eat, I know I told myself I need to feel the pain to know this is all real, but I can't take it anymore.

Last night, I started healing my leg. At least the incision from surgery and the spot my bone poked out of my skin. I didn't need those scars, thank you. I may have healed the bones a bit, too. These crutches really hurt my arm pits.

"Do you want something to eat, baby?" I called over to Eddie.

"No thanks, princess." He replied. I hobbled back to the couch with an apple, plopping myself down and putting my legs over Eddie's lap, lounging on him as I munched on my fruit.

"You should go get ready." He said as he tickled the toes of my good legs foot.

"For what? Laying in bed smoking weed and crying?" I asked with a smirk, really not in the mood to go do anything.

"No, I'm taking you with me to band practice. Play some rage filled songs, get the anger, and hurt out. It'll be therapeutic, and I'm not taking no for an answer."

He lifted my legs off his lap and moved me so they were on the table instead. He looked me sternly in the eyes. He really isn't going to accept no.

"Fine, but know that I'm going against my will." I got up and hobbled to my room to get dressed. I put on an Iron Maiden band tee and a black and red plaid skirt. Pants are out of the question right now.
I put on one sneaker and made my way back out to Eddie, who was already waiting by the door. He'd packed up the van before I woke up.

"After your princess." He said with a bow as he held the door open for me. He followed behind, opening the van for me as well, closing it after I was situated. He tossed my crutches in the back and hopped into the driver seat. Off we went to Gareth's.

The guys were already set up, just waiting for Eddie. They were all shocked to see me there, too.

"Hey Angel, are you going to sing for us today?" Pete asked, hearing my song a few months ago when Eddie played it for them.

"I don't know, maybe. Eddie made me come." I told him through the rolled down window as Eddie opened my door to let me out, taking my hand as I stepped down.

He got my crutches for me and led me to a chair the guys had set up for me. They knew Eddie wanted to bring me, but they didn't know I'd actually show up.

Eddie and the guys unloaded his equipment and quickly set it up.
After a quick sound check, they started playing. I recognized the song immediately.

Eddie smirked at me, knowing I couldn't resist singing Metallica's 'For Whom The Bell Tolls', and it seemed like a fitting song.

He gave me a wink, and I stood up, grabbing the mic. The guys looked at me, completely stunned as I belted out the lyrics with a perfect blend of metal and femininity. I sang the entire five plus minutes song, head banging along with them as they played.
