**Eddie**

It's impossible to sleep. Every time I try the nightmares plague me. That is, when I try to sleep. The horrible ideas and thoughts of what they might be doing to Angel haunt me day and night. Every time I close my eyes I picture the things Eleven had said. I don't know what this place, or this collar look like, but what pops into my head are terrible things. All I can see is some kind of torture chamber and tools. Every time I've seen her gravely injured in the past, that's what I'm imagining now. I tell myself she's okay, she has powers, she can fight back. Then I remember what Eleven said about the collar. They probably aren't even letting her fight back when they hurt her.

My weekend is taken over by sitting with Eleven. I sit and wait as she does whatever it is she does to see Angel. Unlike the other day, she told me exactly what was going on as it was happening in real time. Unlike the other day, she didn't leave out any details. I think I would have rather stayed in the dark about it, It doesn't make me feel any better knowing what they are making her do, and what they are doing to her.

"Were you able to figure out where the lab is?" I asked hopefully, though I have the feeling I shouldn't have bothered.

"No. I tried to explore the place, but I couldn't find any way outside. I'm sorry." El seemed defeated. She tried at laest, that's all I could ask.

"It's alright. Thanks for trying. I guess now just, tell me everything you can." I told her as I took a seat on the couch. I watched her as she tied on her blindfold.

"Are you sure?" She asked as she was preparing herself to dive back in to see what's going on at the secret lab.

"Not really, but I need to know if she's okay." I replied, taking a deep breath. From what I was told the last time, I really don't want to know the horror Angel is going through. I'm conflicted. My heart tells me one thing while my head tells me another.

"Alright." She got comfortable before she went into search mode. I'm terrified of what she might see, and tell me. My hands are sweating my legs already bouncing. I'm beyond nervous.

**Eleven describing everything to Eddie**

"Are you going to do as you're told, or do we need to turn up the voltage" Papa asks as his fingers graze the knob on the remote to the new collar, ready to turn it up if Angel's answer is no. He eyes the flanking guards , both holding a taser in hand, ready for the signal.

The cover is removed from the cage. Angel sits at the table, eyes red and watery from the previous excruciating shocks that came before. She is being asked, yet again, to kill a defenseless baby animal, just to be forced to bring it back to life again. She can still feel the pain running through her, as if the current is still rushing through her body.

"Well?" Papa asks as he turns the knob, raising the voltage setting higher. His finger grazes over the button as he waits for her answer.

Angel stares at him with wide as eyes, pleading with him not to make her do it. She doesn't answer verbally, her eyes alone telling him no.

Papa accepts her silence as her answer as she still isn't doing what's asked of her. He firmly presses his finger down on the button, watching as Angel's body becomes rigid with the high power shock that courses through her. Angel falls out of the chair and lays stiffly on the floor. The shock running through her so high that she cannot convulse. Her eyes appear to be fully white as they roll entirely back.
