The morning sounds of our spot woke me up. I listened to the birds chirp as the trees moved with the wind.

Eddie had his arms wrapped around me, my head on his chest, snoring into the top of my head. I smiled, thinking about the night before.

Eddie was not my first, but he was certainly my favorite.

He was so nervous, constantly checking to make sure I was okay with his touch, his kiss, his body. He was gentle, cautious with how he pulled me in, his kisses on my body sending shivers all over my body.

I smiled at the thought, tracing his tattoos as he slept. I sighed, feeling safe in his embrace. My face flushed as I remembered different moments of the night, our bodies entangled with one another.

I looked up at him, still sleeping, and kissed his neck. This was our normal morning routine – me kissing his neck, him pulling me back in until I woke him like Sleeping Beauty. It felt different this morning, fuller.

His eyes fluttered open, and he smiled brightly. He pulled me in for a deep kiss, keeping his arms tight around me.

"Good morning, fair maiden," his nickname for me made me smile more. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Good morning, Eddie Munson," I kissed him on his nose. "How did you sleep?"

He flashed a smile that made my heart catch.

"Incredibly well," he put his lips to my ear, making my hair stand on end. "I think last night's activities helped."

I blushed, and he laughed at my sudden redness. He kissed my neck, his favorite spot, and continued to smile as he traced the sides of my face. I didn't want to leave this bubble, this space that he had created for us.

However, Eddie's rumbling stomach pulled us out of the moment. He winced.

"Sorry," he was blushing, and I laughed.

"Don't be," I kissed his cheek. "Let's go get breakfast."

We changed in the tent, and he nervously glanced at me. His shyness made me smile, especially after last night. I turned, back in my sundress, and he smiled as I leaned in to kiss him again.

We walked out of the tent, and he took my hand, leading me to the van. I stopped.

"Munson, do you plan on packing any of this up?"

He grinned slyly and kissed my forehead.

"I was able to convince Dustin that leading the clean-up crew was a critical part of me surprising you. He'll be here with the boys in about an hour – he is thrilled for the honor," he teased, and I barked out a laugh. It made my heart swell that Dustin wanted to help surprise me with Eddie.

But then I cringed at the thought of him packing up the tent after last night. I stopped again.

"Maybe we can pack the tent? Just so I don't have to worry about my baby brother—"

Eddie's eyes widened as he realized what I meant. He nodded his head, nervous again.

"I didn't even think about that, when I planned this, I didn't know last night would go like that—I mean, not that I am not thrilled that it went like that—but I don't want you to think I would plan that and then ask the little one—"

I cut him off with a kiss, beaming at my Nervous Eddie. He was red but smiled back. We started folding the blankets, stacking the pillows into the back of his van. Eddie struggled with the tent, cursing as one of the poles popped back up and smacked him in the face. I couldn't stop laughing when it happened again, and he looked incredulous, trying not to laugh.
