Robin had been successful in getting each of us drunk, forcing refills and shots to each of us. Every time someone attempted to deny the next drink, Robin would make a face and pout about how we were ruining Her Big Adventure.

Eddie spun me around, making me laugh as he peppered my face with kisses. He was my favorite kind of drunk right now – pink in the face, unable to stop smiling and touching me as he told me how pretty he thought I was. Since we had traded might-love-you's yesterday, he would get close to my ear to repeat the phrase over and over again.

"I might love you. Might love you. Might love you," he would kiss my neck between each word, making me laugh and flush. I looked over at the other pair, Robin grinning wildly, and Steve made a face. I was suddenly aware that Eddie and I were not alone and smiled weakly as I twisted in Eddie's arms, my back to his chest.

"When did you want to head into the city, Rob?" I was trying to focus through Eddie's kisses on the back of my neck. I was secretly hoping she would cancel The Adventure, letting me and Eddie caper off into the night together.

"A cab will be here in about ten minutes," Steve answered for Robin, looking into his drink before taking a large gulp. I nodded and Eddie put his lips to my ear.

"That's plenty of time for us to find you another pair of shoes."

I elbowed him as my face flushed, making him laugh. He pulled me tight to him, making my stomach flip. Steve rolled his eyes – I couldn't tell if he did it so I would intentionally see his face or not. I was annoyed with his attitude.

"Alright, kids – cab is here!" Robin shouted, bringing me out of my mood. We started gathering ourselves, Eddie keeping an arm around me the entire time.

We filed out of Steve's house as Robin directed traffic, informing each of us where to sit.

"Munson, can you just let Y/N sit in your lap? I think that would be the easiest so we can all sit in the back," I looked at her, confused why she was insistent on us all of us sitting in the back together. Before I could question her, Eddie wrapped his arms around my arm, pulling me into the cab and onto his lap.

"Gladly," he pulled me tight, kissing his favorite spot on my neck. Robin shoved Steve in after us, sandwiching him between us. I was suddenly very aware of my and Eddie's bodies, pulling my legs close to us so I wouldn't touch Steve. Eddie placed his hand on my thigh, his fingers tapping on my inner thigh. Robin leaned forward, talking to our driver.

"Hi, sir, we are headed to Glass House in the city—" Eddie interrupted her.

"Nope – take us to the Silver Dollar."

Robin turned to him, beaming. I looked at him as well, his face still pink from the booze as he grinned.

"Buckley said she wanted to see me two-step – I'm not about to let her down." He squeezed my thigh as I smiled at his gesture for my friend, and the driver started off.

I watched the road pass, leaning into Eddie's chest. Robin was the only one talking, prattling on about the girl who kept coming in during her shifts, her thoughts on the honky-tonk bar we were headed to, the drinks she was planning to order. Eddie was tracing his fingers on the inside of my thigh, making my hair stand on edge.

Steve was attempting to bring his shoulders as close as he could, not wanting to touch any of us. I leaned further to the side, shifting my weight in Eddie's lap. Eddie suddenly gripped my thigh, making me freeze. I could no longer hear Robin as Eddie breathed into the back of my neck, tracing my inner thigh, slowly moving up my leg.

I felt my entire body go hot as Eddie played with the hem of my dress, still between my thighs, kissing my shoulder.
