Dark's POV

"I'm sorry, I really am!" I pleaded to the man sitting in the black thrown.

The room I was in was all too familiar. The room just so happened to be my father's layer.

It contained his huge, shiny black thrown, which had a small table beside it to hold anything he wanted it to at the time. It also had the holder for his scepter, his scepter being filled with evil black magic.

A tank of unfortunate demons' souls who didn't listen to his every command was in there as well as a small library filled with thousands of books about the Underworld and all of its inhabitants.

A humongous bed with a headboard that had carvings in it from the ancient Scroll of Death and black satin sheets was sat a few yards away from his thrown. The bed was for him and him only. He never had a lover, mostly because he didn't believe in love and affection. All of his children, including me, came from Earth somehow.

A case for all of his special belongings sat beside a shiny black wardrobe that matched the rest of the furniture in this room. It contained the armor he used to defend himself from God when he defeated him and sent him back to where he came from. He demanded my father to let all of the demons he kept captive go, but he refused, and fought him until victory was his.

Other than those things, there was just a lot of empty space that wasn't being used.

Usually there would be evil spirits lurking around in this space, and listening to what he had to say.
While he could see them, we could not. We would only be able to hear them whispering about all sorts of things.

Sometimes, when I was younger, I would sneak into my father's room just to hear the spirits' whispering away. There were too many of them to make out what each individual one was say song, but for some reason, I felt better listening to the all little things that I could make out.

I was drifting away with my thoughts, and ended up making my father even more pissed at me now that I haven't been listening.

"You don't even know how much of a disappointment this is to me and now you aren't even listening to me!" his deep voice boomed. He was furious and his hair was starting to light up with emerald green flames. The glass ball at the top of his scepter that he was holding started to light up with different colors of green as well.

He stood up and towered over me. His long black cloak dragged on the black glass flooring. With every step he made towards me, the ground would light up with the green colors that were in his scepter's glass ball.

"Haven't we already discussed what I could do to you? You mess up one more time, I swear!" and with that, he hit the ground with his scepter, and the green colors sparked out of it and flew up into the air.

"I do so much for you, and you never appreciate it! I woke you up from the dead, for Hell's sake!" he screamed at me. The flames in his hair were now going crazy and sparks were flying everywhere.

"I gave you your life back! But with one measly price- all you had to do was become awful! Be the worst person there is and ever will be! But no, you had to go and be nice to the girl! Oh, that girl! You're starting to like her, aren't you? I really should've seen this coming!" he screeched, the ground and the walls started to shake as soon as he finished. He kept hitting the ground with his scepter and more green colors shot out of it. I had began struggling to keep my balance.

"And the man! Your good side! You were too nice to him, too! You should've beaten him like he beat the people he killed for you! At least then I wouldn't have to be this furious at you!" he yelled as the books on the shelves of the small library started to fall off due to the shaking.

"And when you tried to make your first kill! It was a terrible sight to see indeed! You better believe I was watching every minute of it, and to see that the man was way more intelligent and skilled than you! He turned the knife on you oh-so-easily and you crumbled to the ground! You did the complete opposite of what I thought you would've done! I might as well start the punishment now!" he yelled once more as he threw his hands up in the air. Then, all of a sudden, the shaking stopped and he turned and looked me straight in the eye.

"But I won't. I am giving you one more god damned chance to make yourself the person you are supposed to be up there." he growled, pointing up towards the ceiling of his room. He took a moment to gather himself, then turned his body away from me, his cloak swallowing him up.

I was now alone in his layer. I thought for a moment and decided to sit down and listen to the whispers of the evil spirits, just like I had as a young one.

I had drifted off, and woke up on the couch with (Y/N) in my arms.

Oh right, I remember now.

He could only talk to me in my dreams.
