(Your POV)
As you ran, you became more terrified of what you were going to find. You didn't want Dark to be hurt, or found and put into custody. You pumped your arms harder and your legs began to move faster; you were going to find him and he was going to be okay. At least, that's what you wanted to happen. You ran a little longer, your breath coming in and out of your mouth becoming a wheeze as your lungs felt like they were on fire. You finally came up on the entrance of town and you slowed down to take a break. It wasn't long though, you needed to find Dark. You started walking at pace a little faster than normal as you passed all the different shops that lined the town. As you looked across the street you saw a figure by an alleyway. It looked like they were crouching down. You knew it had to be Dark, literally no one else was out here. You looked both ways just to be safe before you ran across the street. The person raised their head to the sound of your sneakers hitting the pavement and stood up. You came up to them and noticed it was a man. He looked exactly like Dark so you knew you had found him. Or so you thought, anyways.

"Dark!" you yelled out as you ran up to hug him. He immediately put out his arms to stop you, catching you at your sides. You looked up at him and noticed the softer, more nicer features on his face.

"Y/N, Dark isn't here." you hear him say softly, his deep voice cracking a bit, surprisingly. Your eyes widened and you took a step back, his grip on you releasing. This, in fact, was not Dark. This was Mark.

"Oh my God.." you mumbled out as you ran into his arms anyway. He hugged you back and buried his face in your hair. You guys stayed like that for a while until you decided to let go after some time.

"Mark, you gotta tell me where Dark went." you said as you looked up into his soft, chocolate brown eyes. He shook his head and ran a hand through his just as soft hair.

"Thats the thing, Y/N. I don't know where he went. I- I mean, I heard a noise so I turned around and it looked like he was in the middle of dying on the ground behind me. Turned out the noise was that knife-" he pointed towards the knife Dark was using. "-and he was.. he was going to stab me but he didn't get to. He passed out and I went to touch him. He was fine; still breathing, heart still beating. Then, right before my eyes, he started to fade away and then he just.. vanished." he explained as he motioned to an area on the ground. That must have been where Dark was before he just disappeared.

"Well fuck. What do we do? We don't even know where he went!" you exclaimed in an upset tone as you threw your arms up in the air. Mark put a hand on your shoulder.

"Hey, calm down. I know this is frustrating but we can figure it out. Now, he's a demon, an evil spirit of the Underworld. Maybe he was summoned back down there for some reason." As soon as the words left Mark's mouth, you started to panic. He was supposed to kill somebody. That somebody was supposed to be Mark, but he didn't do it in time. You knew this was of his father's doing and that he probably had him liked up somewhere down there. You couldn't let him kill Dark though. You had grown to like Dark, maybe even grown to love him, and you couldn't let his father take him away from you just when things were beginning to be great between you two. Mark saw the panicked look you have him and he rested his other hand on your other shoulder.

"What? You have to tell me so we can figure this out Y/N." he said as his eyes searched your face. You swallowed slowly and told him everything you had just remembered and thought about. He nodded in response a couple times and when you were done he had a content look on his face.

"Alright. I don't know if this will work, but we can try it. Back at Dark's place, he has a huge hidden library. You've probably never seen it. All demons have one, it's where they keep all these spell books and things like that. I'm sure that in one if those spell books he owns, there's a spell where we can open up a portal to go to Hell where we can hopefully save him." Mark described and it all began to make sense. This had to work, I have no idea what else would. A huge smile grew on my face and I grabbed Mark's hand, his cheeks growing red just a tad.

"We gotta get back to his house then. C'mon!" you yelled out as you turned around and started running, dragging Mark all the way back with you. You were determined to get to Dark and hopefully save him from whatever evil was torturing him down there.
