You were just about to shut your door so you could start processing what the whole thing downstairs was when you heard Dark's voice. "(Y/N)! (Y/N), wait!" he pleaded as he reached your door.
You sighed deeply before opening the door back up. Your gaze landed on the demon's face first, seeing a guilty expression on it. You knew he must've felt bad for messing with you just a little while ago or else he wouldn't be standing at your bedroom door, ready to apologize. At least he was wearing a shirt this time. He looked you straight in the eye then turned his head quickly and scratched the back of his neck.
"Listen (Y/N), about that stuff that happened downstairs. I-I am so terribly sorry. I shouldn't have done that to you. I knew you were uncomfortable, but I just didn't stop. But how could I stop when you're just so adorable? D-Damn, I'm sorry, okay? I'll try my very best to control myself enough so it won't get that intense ever again." he stuttered out all at once.
You stood there with a confused look on your face, not really being able to take in what he said when he spit it out so fast. You took a moment to break everything down, then suddenly you were hugging him. He was taken aback by it at first, but he ended up wrapping his arms around your body and pulled you closer. You took a deep breath.
"Dark, I understand what you're trying to say, and I do accept your apology," you started. "And I do think that you might've pushed it just a little bit too far, but you apologized and that's all that matters." You pulled back and gave him a small smile, though it quickly turned into a smirk.
"Also, I'm aware that you just called me adorable."
He laughed nervously, and all you could do was laugh with him. You pulled out of the hug, but his hands were still resting at your waist.
"So you do forgive me? Even though I was basically torturing you?" he asked, hope pooling into his dark eyes. You gave him a shy look.
"Yes Dark, I do forgive you." you replied softly.
He smiled, and that same deep blush that was on his cheeks earlier reappeared. A smile spread onto your face as well, and you pulled Dark back in for another hug. For some ludicrous reason, being in the embrace of this demon was very comforting for you.
Was this how you guys were going to be from now on? You didn't know, so you cherished this moment as long as it lasted. That ended up being a while because Dark wouldn't let go.
"Dark, I'd like to get dressed now." you giggled as he pulled you back into the hug that you were trying to get out of. His deep laugh filled the room.
"But (Y/N)," he whined, dragging out your name. "I don't want to leave."
"I'll hug you again when I am dressed." you promised, finally escaping his grasp. You then turned around and shut the door, leaving the demon to pout to himself outside until you were done.
